  1. Randoms from the current Dive Pool. Take a look for yourself. Click on this link www.omniskore.com and then go to IPC DIVE POOL.
  2. Have you tried any of these? www.tavernpuzzles.com They're fun, but there's one that is driving me crazy! (Long Island Catch)
  3. That's what I try to do. BTW, can you touch your forhead with the tip of your right foot on exit? I almost did once
  4. Duh! Finally got it. Thanks! At first I didn't know what you were talking about.
  5. XL has each person place their hand after they do a mock up of where they are going in the air*** Sorry, I don't get it ..... can you explain further?
  6. BTW where are you trying to put youselves on the launch? *** On the "E" we are really trying to place the formation at a 45 degree angle +/- in referrence to the plane. On the "P", I'm not sure. We haven't discussed it, but I can pretty much assert that the top section of the formation (point, oc and ic) are trying to place it parallel to the plane (launching straight out) while I'm trying to drop as much as I can. But I couldn't say for sure.
  7. Go to Bennigan's (about a block away from the tunnel), have a beer, and order a "Death by Chocolate".......... Man that's a nice dessert. As for places to visit, whatever you do DON'T GO TO JUNGLELAND!
  8. That's the problem we have with Meeker exits... it always rotates 180 where the Tail (me) ends up above the formation and the Point ends up in my otherwise normal position. We figured that the strongest input for the rotation comes from the IC who tends to lead with his head instead of his hips. Do you thing it would help if the Point "pushes" out with the one free arm and the Tail pushes down and out with the right leg?
  9. I thought I share these pics with you guys. The OC is a guy with 140 jumps and no 4way experience. He has made less than a dozen 4way jumps.
  10. I just think that it's sad. Read the other posts about people sending off their children, husbands, SO, fathers, etc. directly to uncertainty. Nobody knows if they are coming back. It seems to me that most of them were pretty happy with their families. Now they will have to dodge bullets, missiles, land mines, etc. Look around you... out on the streets.... look at the war veterans. They gave their leg/arm/sight/dignity "for their Country" and they are living on the streets..... begging for a dollar to buy something to eat. And all for what? A piece of land and tank of gas! I know that's how our world works, but I just makes me sad.
  11. eventually they will decide that the threat from the expanding US empire is greater than their differences - unless, of course, we start behaving like a citizen of the world instead of its judge, jury and executioner. *** Well said. You pretty much summarized my feelings in a few sentences.
  12. If you liked Moulin Rouge, go see Chicago. I liked them both. I guess it's a mood thing.
  13. My recommendation is that if you don't like what we do, don't buy our products, don't visit our country, and leave it if you're here.*** I agree with you. But isn't the U.S. pretty much involved (i.e., trying to control) most of the world, anyways? Peace out!
  14. Israel/PLO: Treaties abandoned. Somalia: in a perpetual sh*t-storm. DPRK: Self explanatory. Ivory Coast: We'll see. Iraq: How many more decades does one want to wait? Afghanistan: Nope Balkans: Nope Pre-WWII Germany: Nope Vietnam: Nope *** I didn't mean to offend anyone. But the above is exactly my point.... none of those places are part of the U.S. ASMOF, they're in different continents. Coincidently, some of them have large oil fields.
  15. I am just sad to know that the U.S. doesn't mind all the hatred. Yes, it is a powerful Country. Yes, they have proven it over and over and over again. Yes, it is obvious they need to pick a fight with some other Country.... anyone will do. And being so close to them really makes me scared. The Coronado fleet is only a few miles away, and so is the San Onofre nuclear plant........ It seems hard to believe that the U.S. is willing to drop nuclear bombs to stop Iraq from producing weapons of mass destruction. Wait a minute, then, what are nuclear bombs? Oh, yeah! They're weapons of mass destruction........
  16. I can get you one of those. No problem!
  17. The t-shirt I can live without, but my mail-in rebates, not that's another story. It makes me feel like I was tricked. Wait I minute, I was tricked!
  18. Not really. I get all my other mail. My mailing address in in California.
  19. I never got my VS1 t-shirt Nor my $30 mail-in rebate from Circuit City Nor my $15 mail-in rebate from Best Buy What's up with that!?
  20. They took a look at both my shoulders and discovered that my joints are very loose. *** Nah! I don't believe you! You're kidding, right? Man, after watching you at the DZ turn your feet backwards, your elbows do a 360 on axis, touch your ear with your tongue, etc., etc., etc., even I could tell your joints are veeeeery loose.
  21. ...I can see myself still repeating AFF4... Be careful there! The mind is our most powerful tool. If you can see yourself doing something, you probably will. Why don't you lose the negative picture in your mind and trade it for a positive one (i.e., enjoying your canopy ride because you kicked ass during your freefal and you feel confident you PASSED!!!) Try it. It might just work!
  22. You guys are right. And we do fly well no-contact. AAMOF that's what we do for warm-up: a couple of no-contact drills. Thanks.
