You have not been following the news have you. It seems many of the Tea Bagger candidates like Angle and O'Donnel and the nutjobs from AK.. all have those talking points . Let not forget my favorite one they all support.... forcing women who are raped by a stranger or their oh so loving fathers or uncles.. to have those children. Sorry but Only a Caveman should be able to love a position like that. how do you know she doesn't want to keep the baby? i think she should be forced to have an abortion. and continue to have abortion forced on her anyother time she gets pregnant. how's my inner caveman doing now? as i write this i am listening to the morning after --duran duran- oddly appropriate !

    this report was in the NY times? right? my cat died today, i should have been depressed, but i wasn't that broken up about it, she got all tangled up playing with the sunday edition of the NYT, and suffocated herself. luckily i don't believe ANYTHING i see in the NYT! ! ! as i am writing this i am listening to ghostriders in the sky -dave russel-!

    17 years of service, when my son graduated basic training at fort sill it was one of my proudest days. his CO asked the crowd present how many of them were parents who also served. more than half stood up. thanks for the resentment plug !

    a guy did this same thing to me once, i'll go into the details if requested, but in the end it was a weird gesture that i never mentioned again before now. probably 15 years ago. i just wrote it off as an awkward attempt at humor. the guy appeared to me to be quite conceited at any rate. no harm no foul. no runs no drips no errors. i write this post while listening to sounds of silence - simon and garfunkel !

    vortex ring state requires 20 to 100% power applied , zero or very near zero iarspeed and a sustained 2 to 300 fpm rod. it is most often encountered ingressing into tight confined areas. with a fair amount of altitude it is easily recovered if entered into. within a couple rotorlengths of the surface it's nearly impossible to recover from. the problem is exacerbated when the pilot sensing the uncommanded sink rate attempts to correct with the application of more power. this accelerates the effects of settling with power. and yes the helo essentially instantly reingests it's own downwash. the lake looks calm apart from their rototwash. so 2 of the necessary requirements are almost certainly present. any helicopter divers will also have an interest in youtube under ochanimal skyrapping. i can be imposed upon to link it. the pilot is yt!
