    airathanas: What would you have done? I would think that part of the TI process is to be able to think for yourself and your student because in the future this guy would be taking real passengers. Again I guess I think what if my mom was on this tandem ride? Would I trust the judgement or decision?

    Also if the TI is trying to get his rating would he consult passenger in a real situation? I head him on plane giving him the usual TI instruction before leaving plane.As if it was a real practice run.. mmmhmmmm

    They did notice... VERY hard opening. They thought they had end cell closure because that side of the canopy didnt inflate..(then they noticed the real problem when they could see the sun through the cells I change this scenerio to my canopy: I think I would have chopped in fear of getting too low and NOT being able to have ANY options....if the fabric gave out.

    Just curious what others think, Saw a tandem instructor (or in the state of getting a rating) taking up a experienced skydiver (student) and watched them land with 4 blown out cells. WOW I had no idea you could land a canopy with half the cells flapping in the breeze. If a canopy acts normal (assuming this did) would you land a known "bad" canopy or chop and go to reserve, knowning that opening is where you had the blow out (hard opening, with two big guys).

    most of the time DZ hnp from 4500 becuz that is the altitude that your second pass is on (bigger planes) Why waste fuel for a low get out?

    I just bought them and using them to FF and HnP etc. I love the pockets for hankie for goggles or phone. I also wear them under my wingsuit w/ phone etc. If you buy the pant/shirt combo is great for Texas summers. (Tony's snap together top and bottom)

    The other great thing is ....CHECK yourself :) adrenaline will do funny things :) count to 2 then release..... I did the same thing a couple of times.

    Hi my name is Mike, Im addicted to skydiving like crack. Looking forward to my wingsuit flight. I hope my family and girlfriend understand that they will be getting nothing from me this year for Xmas as I have spent all my money on a free fly suit, wingsuit, and a new container that should be here 12.25. Selfish Mike :)

    Have him send it to your rigger for inspection and use your rigger as esgrow service !!!! DO NOT SEND MONEY ! Search for "what to do with non payment on rig". what a nightmare! ATLEAST use a credit card as last resort to CYA !

    Any thoughts on looking at the canopy when it is opening? Just started flying Sabre2 loaded at 1.5 and the opening have been anything but predictable... My buddy had the same experiences and he was told to relax and not look at the canopy during opening. I tried it once and seemed to open on heading.     I dont either like to bash folk unless they deserve it... This guy (Emil) is a snake.... I had to deny payment for a 500 dollar suit. HE WOULDNT return my money, so I wanted to warn others.. Hope it saves ONE person the hassle i have had. Love my Tony suit.

    Heal quick, we can get you a caster for your bad wheel! (also heard you took your rig off super fast) Ill never forget HAVING to take off my motocross boot and watching half my foot flop flat! No WAY was EMT gonna cut my stuff !

    MMM WOW. I never thought motocross would be attacked on a skydiving forum... JUST FYI- We dont have a incident forum on Moto boards. Most Xers are beat up and broken not killed.
