hummmmm.... guess i have been out of the loop for to long.... Screw it HAVE FUN... ...JUST DONT DIE

I havent been in the air for well over 6 months now. After a motorcycle reck left me with bad (ulna) nerve damage, severe atrophy of the deltoid, and @ 70% elbow range of motion in my left arm. (see photos below of the bike...) I can now lift my arm above my head, but i am worried about landing or dislocating my shoulder in freefall or during opening shock. Has anyone else had to work through this type of injury? HAVE FUN... ...JUST DONT DIE

April 5th 1985, I was 13 years old. I can’t remember what exact time it was. It was very early in the morning. I remember waking up to the phone ringing. I could hear my mom saying “hello… hello… Mom hello….” over and over. Then I guess the line would go dead and after a minute or so it would happen again. I heard my mom get out of bed and go to the kitchen. Then she said “OH MY GOD!!!! It’s your mom and dad” to my dad. (Growing up I lived right next door to my grandma and grandpa. Their house was my second home. Growing up my grandma was a lunch lady at my school, and my grandpa and I always hung out. He was with out a doubt my best friend.) I could hear my dad rushing to get his jacket and stuff on. I remember this kind of panicky feeling. I was trying not to listen to what my mom was saying, but it wasn’t working. She said that the person on the phone kept saying “Dad’s Dead, Dad’s Dead”. I heard the door shut when my Dad left the house. It felt like time stood still. Then the phone rang again. I remember my mom crying and hanging up then calling 911. I will never forget that call, “My husband’s father has hung himself, and He can’t get him down”. That night 20 years ago my best friend killed himself, that night just will not leave me. It changed me. Why would I want to let myself get that close to anything, you never know when you will get hurt again. I am sick of acting that way now. I don’t want to push people away. For years I have used drink and drugs to “Not think about what I was doing” and it’s hurt the ones I love to many times. I just needed a way to vent tonight. It’s a tough one for me So, thanks for listening HAVE FUN... ...JUST DONT DIE

I like having music of the times in vid's, i mean the stuff that will bring you right back to that "One Jump a few years back"..... the music that when you hear it it'll give you "goose bumps".... I mean there are some songs that i can hear now and i can feel the feeling of driving to the dz ready to make my 3rd, 4th, 20th jump....

I just watched the PD team video.... It's a GREAT vid, but i had to hit the mute button half way into the movie, i just couldnt take the "same techno" music over and over again... The footage is like a VE79, and the soundtrack is like a PD190.... I am SO SICK of the techno "bla bla... thump thump... bla bla" music.... I mean techno is soooooooooo.... It's just old school... Bill is right on the money, I could have never imagined how many separate pieces go into a modern rig.... it would be so different if we made rigs like they make cars... you know, they have huge batches that are identical. For the most part all of the rigs we make are different (teams are the exception). I have a new view for modern rigs now...

The 12 year service life was built into their buisness plan, i agree that a point comes when it's time to replace the product, but the system checks should tell us when that is... HAVE FUN... ...JUST DONT DIE

Put the rig in a laundry bag (large mesh bag used for washing delicate fabrics), and slap it in a machine with mild detergent.... When it's clean scotchgaurd it and you will be GOOD TO GO!!!!!!!!!!

OK.... I work for sunpath, let's get that out of the way.... What i would do if i were you is jump demo gear, hell it's the only way you will REALLY FEEL the difference. a new rig is a BIG purchace so dont just go with the flow, put the rigs on and make some jumps then make your choice. you will be happy that you did...

THANK GOD FOR THE VIGIL!!!!!!!!!!! I turn on my "expired" cypress every day just waiting to get an error. I am SO happy that we have another choice when it comes to AAD's. We just had the Cop's come buy telling us this is a MANDATORY evacuation area and that we have to get out.... well, seeing that the path can change with in the next 12 hours (the time the real hurricane winds will hit the coast... and then we have another 12 hours before it hit's us up here...) i think we will just sit here and watch the news real close.... we have tropical storm (50+ mph) winds here during afternoon thunder storms, and thats all they are calling for us to get here in the hills...
