  1. welcome to skydiving, come on down and grow with Jump in @ Skydive Sebastain, we rock the rookies and would love to meet you.
  2. or could have put the wrong size slider, measure it and give them a call
  3. Anyone still making parts for them?
  4. Came to the dz with a number of friends. Staff made us feel right at home and part of their family. Weather came in so we joined the locals for some night life and had a blast. Owner is a old school skydiver that knows skydiving should be fun. Winds came up and he shut the tandems down for safety. Over all a great place to have fun. Give them a try you will not be sorry. Fun times with great views.

  9. might be able to get you a vector a bit faster. e mail me @ skydiverbill60@gmail.com I believe a slot has opened at our gear store. I got my vector this summer and love it Bill
  10. After the jumping was done we had one of our instructors go over gear and the went over fatality reports. Good number of people stayed with a party following. seem to work better than trying to keep skydivers from jumping on a sunny 80 degree day living in Florida has it's perks. Safety day for our group is every day. We work with rookies so stressing gear checks and proper tracking ect is talked about every jump to see what our group does every day see www.clubjumpin.com

  13. I understand what you are saying. I'll have a look new weekend and post a update
  14. She is currently working on some physical training. I am leery of her down sizing until she can stand up her current canopy. As a diesel mechanic flaring was not much of a issue. She is tinkerbelle sized maybe I should put this in the ladies forum. But i have never run across this issue before. Thanks
  15. Spoke to a rookie jumper and she was thinking about down sizing from a 150 saber 1 to a 135 of some kind so she could flare better. Other than some arm training any idea how to help. she is about 100 lbs w/o gear about 5 foot. Is not currently standing up many of her landings and takes forever to land.
  16. I like 2.7k gives great frame grabs some handy info https://www.gethypoxic.com/reviews-tests-hacks/reviews/101-setting-up-the-gopro-hero3-for-skydiving.html
  17. nice meeting you Squeak, Hope the Jump in gang made you feel welcome. As a local I can tell you it's not always like that.....Then again it's far better than the frozen north!
  18. if you have a rv there is a camp ground less than a mile from Skydive Sebastian. send me a pm I can look it up.
  19. and rates skyrocketing....where is the promised $2500 reduction. a lie as well
  20. other things get them to the mock up early. Nothing like planing a formation and seeing someone walking out to the loading area w/o a jump suit and to late to find one for them. I start with a simple jump 1st to check fall rates few basic points and build on it. Pick a landing direction if winds are light. Climb out and exit count. Talk about outside camera guy and break off. I also speak about calming down, remind them that they have a lot of time. Keep it positive, focused and fun but safe most of all! Let us know how it goes
