I think i'm going to give up on this one. Some people love to throw items like this around becasue they know it will get a strong response. Foolishly you might think that saying we have our guys at Cuba for the same reasons the Nazis put the Jews in Poland, that the populas is going to stand up in outrage and strike down the government before we become the next WW2 Germany. All you really do is show your ignorance and lack of thought. We have a handfull of people in Cuba. People who were fighters, not just citizens. The Nazi rounded up AN ENTIRE RACE of people from much of Europe. They were not soldiers, enmy spies, or otherwise harmfull people. They were children, mothers, and anyone else who happend to be Jewish. They were put in these camps to be worked and to be killed. Over 6 million Jews were killed, several million others who the Germans decided they didn't like also died. I would have to say that only the weak minded would defend comparing Cuba to what the Germans did to the Jews in WW2. If you can't wrap your tiny little brain arouond the differnce...... then god damn man I feel sorry for you. Z

At one level you guys amaze me in the crazy evil goverment plans you cook up. But on the other hand I get angry when I hear things like that becuse when you compare what we have in Cuba, to the 6 million people who are killed, and the millions more who were truly tortured (so far beyond what any of you can even cook up for Cuba) for years.... Yea bill, that's why they aren't keeping them in Afganistan at one of the many prisons we have there. You know, Afganistan is pretty much the same as Georga now , so the only place for us to send them is Cuba so you guys won't freak out... So the army sat and thought about the best place to abuse these guys.....bases all over the world...bases and prisons in country's where nobody can see what's going on (like afganistan) and places where we don't ahve to fly them, ship them or otherwise move them.... But i think you are right bill, I think they picked Cuba cuz it's better than Georga and people might use the constitutional argument against us in afgainistan, germany, Uzbeckestan, yemen........ Think maybe there are other reasons? Maybe haveing to do with geting info from people and breaking spirit? Hard to find good reasons to stay with the taliban and stay loyal when you go from never seeing anything but rocks in afganistan, and wake up in a tropical island half way around the world. Where are you going to escape to? Who is going to come and liberate you? Naw.... we are the children.... we are the ones who make a better day so let's start giving...... lol We're not the world just a small part of it. Our standard is high, higher than anyone elses in the world... so i'd say we are doing pretty damn good at it. Does that make sense to you? NOBODY can even come close to our standards and treatments. It's not that there are others who are where we are but miss the mark once in a while....there isn't anyone on our level. With that in mind i'd say it's hard to argue that we are doing a bad job, when even if we are doing poorly, we are doing better than any one else can.

The world judges us by a standard that is above and beyond what ANY other country can do. No other military has the smart wepons we have, and those who do can't afford to use them. so they use dumb wepons. They use them and in order to take out a military target all sorts of other things and people go with it... the same standard we had 30 years ago. That is still the standard in warfare. So we spend billions in the last SEVERAL conflicts, not just iraq or afgan, using smart wepons to cut down on non military casualties. The bombs that cost so much more, that conventional bombs will do the same job.... But god forbid we hit the wrong building, or a bomb miss it's mark. Or have our bomb take out the right target and kill a kid across the street... The rest of the world says we are careless, killing civilians left and right... they hold us to a standard that NO OTHER COUNTRY can even come close to. And you ask me if I care what the rest of the world thinks? Show me another country that has the ability or the balls to live up to our standard of warfare, and then they can judge us. We live in this bubble, and seem to think that the world is all like we are, and that even in WAR, we should hold the gold plated standards even for the scum of the earth. That's not the way it work. Not for our country, and for sure not for any other nation in the world. Of all the nantions in the world, if you have to be a prisoner, PRAY to god above that the bastards keeping you captive have old glory on their arms. Z

Well Bill. there were reports that when the iraquis realized that teir asses were kicked (since we took them in 3 weeks) that they layed way off. Do you want me to find video links from 91 whith the beaten airmen put on TV (against international law) saying they loved Iraq....only it was hard to understand them since they were so badly beaten? i saw the footage of the JATO Hurc that was set up to fire it's rockets forward for short landing. They went off too soon, while the bird was still in the air, and as you might imagine, that hurc took all the kings horses and all his men to put it back together. Cool idea, but if I flew, i'd like the idea of rockets that you can't turn off giving thousands of pounds of thrust to help me fly forward, than I would one that had those same un stopable pounds pointing backwards. Those poor guys, they went from thinking they were kicking butt when they took out Colorado, and then get rocked (and give up over 70pts...) the next week....and now they are just well...they're just Baylor again! hehe Oh yea, also wanted to let you guys know that I found the dumbest guy on E-bay. Most tickets for the UT OU blowout were going 750-900 bucks a ticket just before the game. I found the guy who messed up his auction by making it end about 3 hours into the game. Texan girls are great...but I have to give my Raider girls a big high five. I"ve been to colleges all over the country, and nobdy can get close to the girls out there in Lubbock. I love Bobby... he took red raider basketball to something that nobody knew anything about on campus (excpet for the girls b ball team), to a *game selling out team. I loved beating them last year (was at that game too...hehe) but just like u are not our rival, nor are you theirs. OU is huge every year... held in a neutral stadium 3 hours from both schools, that still sells out over 80.000. tickets, and demand driving ticket prices to the prices I just showd on Ebay. I have many friends who lost brothers at the bonfire a few years back. I'll never forget that day. Ask me where I was, and what I was doing when I saw that on TV. I'll never forget. Do I think the bonfire became excessive, do I regreat how many people were not sober working on it when it came down....yea, I do. But I will NEVER say anything bad about the 12 kids who lost their lives that day doing something they belived in. They were just fucking kids man, the shouldn't of had to go like that. I know thats' a hot button with you (seen your posts), and I bet you'd like me to say somthing bad about the kids that died that day but it's not going to happen. Like the UT girl in your other post said, all the school to school issues don't matter when blood is spilled and lives are lost. I'll never say anything bad about the Aggie skydivers that Died a few years ago either. I'll never root for AM... doesn't matter who they play.
