So do you mean this across the board..?? You're almost implying that those who can't afford healthcare be denied while the rich get treated. .There are many hard working Americans who can't afford health insurance at all and if they get emergency care we still end up paying for it. Do you have a problem with that too? Just curious..

Wow......that's not how it is at my daughters school. IN fact, the guidance counselor has deployment "workshops" for the kids whose parents are gone. My daughters both attended daily for a month and it was great for them. They also have the class write letters to the parents who are serving away from home. I know that the girls recieved so much support from their teachers when their Dad was away.

Thanks Michele.....too often we forget that those around us are going through life just like we all are. And some may be going through a lot worse. I went into the 7-11 the other morning (as I do every morning) to get coffee after I drop my oldest off at school. The clerk that works there says to me.. broken English and preciously so.." you not smile today.....why you don't smile....smile for me, Kristen...life is good..." He made me smile....

There is actually a group out called the A-teens that my daughters were listening to about a year ago..they sing a lot of Abba's songs. My children were astonished to know that someone else sang Dancing Queen first..

I am sure the mother did not decide to sue on her own. I bet anything she was approached by attorneys who told her that her daughter was killed by negligent doctors and that they should pay...etc, etc.. why are "we" always so hasty to judge when we really don't know the situation ..
