    Since the poster above you is the DZO of the OP's home DZ why wouldn't he go with the program offered? AFF if not the cure all, it is strong in some areas, weak in others, but in the end if we all do the Instructing right don't all the students end up at the same place? "A" Licensed and 25 or more jumps?

    I read the report and did not see it that way. But this is a thread about S&TA's, NOT Skyride. I find it amazing that the FBO's seem know "every thing" about us before we even get there. Amazing that they seem to know about any little thing you think is wrong. Maybe evry thing that has been posted here where you had to be the center of attention can be moved the worthless "What can we do.." thread or the trash.

    I am not Chuckie and this is news to me. I have not been to the DZ since the weekend before this meeting in the article. It would be sad if we moved again, but I guess the nay sayers just keep tracking the DZ down and misinforming the FBO's. Matt what is Mike supposed to answer too? he didn't do any thing wrong.

    You jest but it is not a bad location, but it needs to be right off 24. The nashville tourists, Amry and every one within 3 hours will still be able to get to it. Most in TN, KY and AL do not like the Atlanta traffic and avoid it in traveling. But Nashville would probably be better than either of those aside from the obvious up side, I am moving to its east side and it would be great for me!

    This is about S&TA appointments and USPA trying to appoint a person who doesn't even go to the DZ as an S&TA for the same DZ. The guy they did not keep appointed kept things from getting out of control safety wise and ran a better DZ than almost all I have been too. S&TA's have no roll in how a DZ gets tandem customers. This event just shows how USPA and its minions are focused on a witch hunt and not on the sport. And still no one has been able to answer my questions.

    OK One person who actually knows Matt. If you think he is so good look at the people he has stood up for and signed off as earned qualifications! Mike may not follow all the BSR's like an automaton but at least if he signs off on a PRO rating, License or Instructional Rating it is 100% accurate.

    The whole story is hard to believe. Since no one at the DZ agrees with you, I will call it an out right lie. Chuck said it never went down that way. Mike said he never did any such thing. There is no mention in the USPA BOD meetings minutes. No other staff member supports your story but they do support the DZ's version. Is Mike a USPA Poster Boy for S&TA? NO! But you think your better? That is laughable. I have yet to find ONE person that thinks your a good S&TA and that USPA supports your appointment and tenure. If you find ONE person, I will take back the previous statement and the following one and well: Maybe you should be thinking about a new sport to try and stifle?

    Interesting how you fuond this one to be the example huh? I think this actually shows why they are OK to do. Look how perfect this exit goes! I think the videoagrapher could use some work as the angles and amount of seperation is horrible! But the tandem pair seemed to be in perfect form and stable even with the back flip!

    No one has ever been "bared" or banned for that matter. Some people are just babies who can't get over themselves. Mike and Chuck both called to offer Matt a chance to see the DZ operate for himslef. He never showed.

    Yes they are married why do you think I laughed at matthew's "close relationship" comment? Mike didn't allow them to do night tandems he made them safer. the Chuck and the DZ was going to do night tandem jumps any way and if Mike didn't set up the lights they would have been done in total darkness. He made it safer for Jeff, Josh, etc etc. Again the DZ is SAFER when Mike is the S&TA! With out him the place would have been a mess. If you think the DZ's Staff is Childish and Unproffesional here on this web site or with mike, watch them with out adult suppervision! matthewcline NEVER came to the DZ and never would, even when invited! So USPA trying to hide under the "At Large S&TA" was just setting up the DZ to be called unsafe.

    OK, I will say it as an asc/ast jumper. It is all one and the same, happy now? Like it was really a secret. This is just people not being able to come up with a better marketing plan and being upset they are not as smart as they thought.

    Can we stay on topic? Geeze no wonder the idiots at the DZ complain about this site so much. What would be the point of having an idividual appointed as S&TA that does not even come to the GM DZ? If one used the "its for the Jumpers" argument this would seem to be a dumb move by the RD as the Jumpers would not even see the S&TA. So essentially there is no S&TA at the DZ. Why do this?
