  6. Here is the final answer for everyone: Any and all jumps made from an aircraft during your lifetime count towards the 25 total jumps that you are required to have completed to qualify for a USPA A License. This includes Static Line, IAD, Tandem, Solo, or AFF. In addition you must either complete the A License Proficiency Card, found here: http://uspa.org/publications/form.pdf/A_Lic_Prof_Card_09-06.pdf OR, the ISP Progression card, found here: http://www.uspa.org/publications/form.pdf/A_Lic_Prog_Card_ISP_09-06.pdf The type of card that you use will usually be dictated by the program in use at your DZ. 17. I am not sure what point I missed. I took no offense at any of the preceding posts nor did I mean to suggest that anyone was doing anything even vaguely improper. I am simply trying to respond to the needs and desires of the skydivers and give them the best event possible. Sometimes it is hard to convey a tone when you are typing and if I was perceived hostile or offended then I apologize for the misunderstanding. Mike
  18. Tullahoma is exactly 35 miles from McMinnville. At Tullahoma we have an air-conditioned building with manifest, computers, radios, telephone, etc, set up, we have a much better landing area, closer restaurants and motels, everything is better and easier. At McMinnville (and I have done at least 5 boogies there) we have porta-potties, no facilities, need to bring everything (which is a pain in the ass), a landing area that is basically a hole, and none of the support that we have at a regular DZ. We also need to ferry the airplane, equipment, etc which costs money that ultimately comes out of the jumpers pocket. What would be the point of going 35 miles just to make things more difficult? We would be glad to do it at Tullahoma or even Memphis where we have superb facilites (absolutely the best in the country) including swimming pool, air-conditioned packing, RV hookups, beautiful landing area, etc. Mike Mullins 901-355-2629
  19. Tennessee Skydiving, LLC, would be happy to support your birthday boogie at Tullahoma with the Super King Air for a full weekend, two day, event if we can get the required support from the jumpers. All you need to do is call us. You can reach me anytime on my cell at 901-355-2629. By the way, you cannot simply rent an aircraft and operate at the airport without a lease in place or an agreement with the City, nor is there any need to as our established DZ would be happy to support you there. We have also acquired a very nice cargo door Twin Beech that we will be basing there full time in the near future. We are installing the door, windows, and basically overhauling the airframe now. Mike Mullins Tennessee Skydiving, LLC Tullahoma, TN
