I'm planning on visiting Georgia in a few weeks and ran across this website.http://www.skydivega.com/ I called about the $19 jumps. Well, after some stumbling around on the other end and being told that is correct,then I'm told jumps are as low as $19. When pressed as to what the hell that means,I'm told that use to be their hop and pop price before they lowered it. When asked if hop and pops are now $16 then what is the $19 price, after more stumbling for words, I'm finally told that lift tickets are actually $23. I asked three times where they were located and was not told until I pushed and told her I was an experienced jumper. It looks like business as usual on the old ASC/Skyride scene. I would recommend any of them except Atlanta Skydiving Center in Cedartown Ga, the owners are crooks. So, call me a liar. OK - in that way - I DARE you to go to Overtown in Miami or little Havanna at about 1 am and see if you are considering anything other than a nice view of the city. Perhaps downtown Newark is more your speed. Don't be rediculous and idealistic - try reality. OR - if you don't believe reality - walk the streets of East LA . . . see what happens. Or The Green in Chicago. I made a wrong turn once and ended up there. It was not the atmosphere that bothered me. I will look one step farther to what causes the problem. There are places I won't go because of the blacks and I don't go to country western bars because of the rednecks. There are places I avoid, but because of violence or atmosphere. Not because of what you call "the black factor." Or the Hispanic or Asian factors. Places with white patronage have fights and shootings, too. And I'm sure you don't consider the demographics of those areas at all. Again, if you say no,I will call you a liar.
