  1. Not going to be out there but i did my AFF out there and just wanted to say that you are going to love it!! I found everyone to be so friendly, proffesional and helpful i and my friends had a great time. As for things to do i think if you dont have a car there then your pretty stuck but if you do then we went to lots of malls and some peops went to the space center. Hope you have as much fun as i did ------------------------------------------------ "All men can fly, but sadly, only in one direction"
  2. "Remember those really cool pictures of the cruise missles flying down the streets in Bagdad in 91? Yeah, it was Bagdad. Them darn things are accurate to about 10 yards of their target I think."*** ----------------------------------------------- Missiles can and frequently do miss. The USA or any military using these so called smart weapons have not got a great track record. Also even if one does hit dead on target a missile cannot tell the difference between a munitions factory and a hospital, they are merely supposed to fly to the target which is programmed into them, this relies soley on the quality of the inteligence. ------------------------------------------------ "All men can fly, but sadly, only in one direction"
  3. I would probably have to say Patric de Gayardon becasue i am new to skydiving and i think thats the first famous skydiver i ever heard about. Also my non-skydiving friend from italy had heard about him apparently he is lot better known in France/Italy. Also what about Adrian Nicholas, in the UK he has been on several tv programmes with his wing suit and Da VInci's parachute. 5. Thanks for replying, and for all the advice. Though i was wondering about the whole poptop debate, are there any inherent problems with poptops? what is the other method of deploying the reserve? 6. Hi i have recently decided to buy a new rig, it will be my first one i live in the UK and many of my friends jump Teardrops. I have all but decided to go with this but would be very keen to hear any opinions from people that jump them, have jumped them or just can generaly give me some advice. I have spoken to riggers and other skydivers and they seem to say that there are no really bad containers and that the TD is quite a good choice but i would really like to hear other thoughts. 7. I have recently got my A license and am looking to buy my first rig. I have been looking around for a good first rig which is suitable for freeflying, the discipline i would eventualy like to get into. I am on a budget so can anyone recomend any containers, or systems, any advice would be greatly appreciated.
