    I know.. I will send more tax money ( and I have taken a 50 percent pay cut after losing my computer job ) so the gov. workers can get a pay raise, which IS what happened in Phoenix !! Makes sense to me.

    ( Some of the media 'forgot' to mention this very much.) Hundreds of people rampaged through the neighborhoods surrounding the Wisconsin State Fair on Saturday, and Milwaukee police are said to be still trying to get to the bottom of what caused so many people to become so angry. It’s believed that just after 11pm, police were alerted to a large group of people exhibiting ‘mob-like behavior’ and attacking cars. Although no-one died in the violence, a number of people were injured and required hospital treatment, including one person who needs surgery. Around 24 people were arrested during the disturbance. The riots are already being blamed by many on African American teens, with at least two local politicians saying that the violence was caused by a ‘deteriorating African American culture’ in the city of Milwaukee. But whatever caused the riots, Milwaukee’s political leaders are going to have to show a little more political acumen if they are going to get to the root of the issues

    An interesting read. My recall of Brooke's death was 1. heavy gloves and a reserve pud prevented her from pulling anything, and 2. the thought was she turned on the Cypress at home and not at the DZ ( different elevation ). Either that is wrong or the lawyer is lying through his teeth.

    I hope I am wrong, but I really do think that it's a 50/50 proposition whether the US does anything great ( or anything at all !!! ) in space for many decades to come. ( manned space flight ).

    I think it is an enormous help..... my generation watched Ripcord and Sky King and learned many things from that. Contrast that to a new jumper or student pilot who really does not even know the basic terminology of their new endeavour. Some tandem students have never even seen video of a tandem jump and have no comprehension at all about what they are about to do. Talk about sensory overload !

    my personal opinion is that the tyrannical government(s) should not take more than 50 percent in total. There is a moral issue there.
