I've got a younger brother who was every parents wet dream....captain of the football team, student council president, class favorite, etc, etc, etc..... And then there was me...always out partying, hangin' out with the "wrong" crowd, gettin' in trouble in school, etc. I must admit though, my folks did their best not to pick favorites, but deep inside I know they must've favored him. Hey Steve.....Byron here! Sure do miss you guys and would love to see you again soon. Kasey says "hi", and we're gonna do our best to try to get down to AZ sometime in the next few months. Take care, and please give our best to Maria! B~ -
Dave....hand position is the key to playing bar chords (especially in the lower positions...ie "F"). Try to think of your thumb and fingers as a vice around the neck of the guitar. Thumb should be centered on the back of the neck and your fingers should be close to 90 degrees over the top of the fret. It'll take some practice, but once you get used to holding your hand in that position, it will eliminate the "buzzing" or "muting" that you're currently experiencing. Hope that helps. B~

I started playing piano and organ when I was about 6 years old and started guitar (acoustic and electric) when I was about 12. Have played in several rock bands over the past 12 years or so and been featured on three fully produced CDs. I'm currently jamming with some excellent musicians in a band called "Lemon Engine". We play out 2 or 3 times a month in various venues here in Colorado, so if you're ever in the area, come check it out! B~

Over the past 10 years, I've been to almost every ski resort here in Colorado. I would recommend Steamboat Springs.....absolutely fantastic snow (even the packed powder is incredibly soft). It's a little ways off the beaten path too and is a little less "touristy". Enjoy... B~

Jane's ROCKS.... They're playing here in Denver in four days, and you can bet yer a$$ I'll be there!

Happythoughts.....I agree with you 100%.

It was quite awhile ago...part of 1987 and most of 88. I'm guessing that we're probably only in the 2nd or 3rd grade at the time

The pilot did say that he's based here in CO and that he typically does mtn. tours with his bird. I'm pretty sure that he'll be coming out quite a bit next summer too. Wasn't that a blast Phil? B~

Definitely get Munch's Oddessy. It's similar to Spyro. It took me almost a week of continuous play to get to the final level....I also understand that there's different endings depending upon how well you do throughout the game. Enjoy, B~

Guitar/Piano and Organ I've got a gig tonite in Evergreen, CO at a sweet little mountain bar called Cactus Jacks with the band Lemon Engine....kinda a bluesy rock/jam band. Been playing keys since I was about 6 (wow....25 years now), and been playing guitar since I was 12. I've been featured on 3 CD's and continue to make music a big part of my life. I could probably get about 6 brand new rigs if I were to trade in all the music gear that I own. B~

Last summer when I started, none of my friends could understand my new-found fascination. Finally, this spring I convinced my best buddy to do a tandem. He absolutely loved it. Signed up for AFF, finished it within two weeks, and now we have the same jump #'s and licenses. B~

Yeah.....I do have an extra board, but it doesn't have bindings at the moment. You can rent gear for cheap around here ($15-20) per day. B~
