I'M GETTING THAT!! Once I get my heli pilots license, I decided a while ago that I'm getting that as a reward! Except I want it with all of DaVinci's notes around it, like the attached picture.

My gosh. I'm so envious. I am going to get this parachute tattoo and davinci's rendition of the helicopter soon. Thats awesome! And for the record: the appropriate ranking of cool modes of transportation is jet pack, hover board, transporter, Batmobile, and THEN giant ant. D.S. #8.8

Just go to Ross or TJ Maxx for the time being and get a bag that your rig will fit in. It doesn't have to be fancy, and you can buy a better one later for future trips. Hell, you can get one at Target or any other store like that.

I live near Lake Tahoe and its been on the news for a few weeks, but the cause still has been very hush hush. I'm also surprised that the rotors remained above water...would have been a completely different video had they hit the water And for the record: the appropriate ranking of cool modes of transportation is jet pack, hover board, transporter, Batmobile, and THEN giant ant. So it seems like the general consensus for a student is to try and clear their pilot chute twice, and if that fails, go silver at their hard deck. My question is, would you as an instructor do the same thing if you had a horseshoe? Whats the difference in what you tell the student to do and how you would handle it yourself? Newb here, trying to learn all that I can on handling malfunctions. Edited to add that the two try on pc is what I would do as well...just seeing if there is a more accepted way of doing it off of student status. Okay, maybe those weren't the right words, but below in my post I said " It seems as if marriage as an institution shouldn't be to blame, but rather the combination of the two people that share the union, and the changes the individuals make toward each other"...maybe this statement is more appropriate. It's semantics really, because the bottom line is the same regardless-one or both in the union change in a way that doesn't jive with the other. And, I guess, only time will tell if that ever happens with two people. You're right, I may get married and things may fall apart. But, I'm hoping that these unmarried years of ours will get all the kinks worked out and improve communication enough that we can get through the hard times. But I agree with everybody about infidelity being a deal breaker, divorce maker. I don't stand for that shit. I am so very sorry for anybody who has gone through that and sincerely hope that they never have to experience it again. I like your post. It seems that the people who are against marriage have experienced a bad marriage because of the person they chose to marry. Im 26 years old with a wonderful boyfriend (celebrated three years together yesterday, actually

Are you packing all s-folds in the bag all at once? If getting it in the bag is your problem, try having someone show you how to do 1 s-fold, put it in the bag, then finish with the second s-fold near the lines. This is where I had a problem too, and once I learned how to do this, packing was no longer a PITA

Oakley Fuel Cells in freefall
TiaDanger replied to JohnnyMarko's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
I think you have me confused with the average, salary-earning, bonus-getting, vacation-enjoying American. How about 'meh', being a poor biology masters student, making just enough to pay my rent and car payment, which is literally, just above the poverty line for a one-person household. If it weren't for the famous Bill Dause and his $15 jump ticket, there's no way I could even afford to jump! So 'meh', I'm envious of people who make more than me, then also get discounts I'm not eligible for! You can do things to help your battery out...Dim your screen, and lessen the time your screen stays lit from say, 2 mins to 15 seconds. Turn your GPS off if you don't need it. Also, when your phone has a full charge, turn it off and plug it into the charger again. For some reason, a second charge when the phone is off gives more juice to android phones. I do it all the time with mine and notice a significant difference. The used rig I bought has a white canopy with blue ribs. In the 100 or so jumps I have on it, its been mistaken for a reserve once. Even though its gorgeous and matches the rig, its still white. My next canopy will be a very bright so I am more visible under canopy and so I can find it if i cutaway And for the record: the appropriate ranking of cool modes of transportation is jet pack, hover board, transporter, Batmobile, and THEN giant ant.
