    Ok, so I know things with Sussex have been crazy the last few weeks with the kingair getting some work done, but ITS FINISHED, ITS BEEN FLYING THE LAST 2 WEEKS!! We will have the Kingair every weekend for the entire season. We now will have Frugal Fridays, starting in the next week or two, every Friday $20 lift tickets to 13.5 from the Kingair!! Helicopter jumps are also still on Saturdays from 10-2 for B lic holders! Bonfire and party every Saturday night on the dropzone, small camping area allowed on weekends, and more! Bands coming later this month!! Come enjoy the NEW Skydive Sussex =)! Come enjoy the CLOSEST DROPZONE to NYC! Enjoy the NYC skyline on a clear day!

    we are all set for Saturday, please be in at 7am if you want in on the first few loads, since thats when we will do the briefings. We want to do this every weekend all season so lets show a good turn out Sat morning.     Ya, I talked to someone up there, they start at 630, however they will be done by 8am, they can NOT drop after 8am, not even a minute after, they are in the 30NM TFR ring, same one we are in, and it starts at 8am sharp, there is no possible way they can be in the air after 8.

    !!IMPORTANT!! We will not begin jumping till 1pm on Saturday!! This is because OBAMA is going to be at West Point and there is a no fly order for the area, the Ranch is under the same order and not flying till 1pm! So if you want on load one be in by 12pm, load 1 is going to have wheels up at 1pm on the dot! Sunday 9am start, might become 8am check with manifest! Party is still on for Saturday night!!

    We will have Big Boss Sausage playing at sunset, and another local artist opening for them, as well as food and drinks, and a bonfire! Many loads of only fun jumpers will be getting extra altitude! We start 8am Sat/Sun! PLUS dont forget about hooters =)! Weather might say something about clouds, but the aviation weather says the bases will be over 12,000 ft!

    If you wana try Sussex, take the NY transit train to Port Jervis NY, its on the Middletown line, then grab a cab over the hill to Sussex, you most likely need to call ahead on the cab part so try Google, the cab ride is about 15 min if you dont hit traffic, come meet the weekend locals and make some friends, because a few groups drive out from NYC every weekend.

    I will upload pictures from the wedding ASAP!! 4 loads with the Kingair yesterday (tue), did a wedding at the dropzone, and went to 15,000 on load 4 =) a great day!! Kingair will be running all this weekend as well, a few loads will be going higher!!! Come jump Sussex!

    I know many people buy their rigs on here and get them UPS'd, the Ranch has Sonic who is AWESOME, and we as well at Sussex have a weekend rigger onsite, and could have it ready for any weekday as long as we get it prior to a weekend.

    Sussex isnt much further, we are also open 7 days per week, alot of AFF right now on weekdays, a few tandems, and on some weekdays in the afternoon the local fun jumpers are out, its only a 182 right now on weekdays though, Kingair on weekends. If your around Tuesday come down, one of our AFF students is getting married at t he dropzone, doing a jump with his fiance right before, and we will run the Kingair90 for the load, so def worth coming out for a jump if you want to be part of all that Tue, they come in at 10am, we will be up in the air by noon, then getting married soon after. The Ranch is also good advice, always something going on there.

    AMAZING OPENING DAY!! The Kingair will be up in 7 days, NEXT FRIDAY!! It will fly all next weekend 9am to sunset Sat and SUn! Come out, you might find you get a bit of extra altitude too =)!! Come welcome a turbine back to Sussex next Saturday! Stop in XKEYS this weekend to see it!!

    Hey Everyone, Sussex will open this Friday, we open at 1pm this Friday!! Come out for some awesome jumps! The weather for this weekend is 75 and sunny!! I will post some pics soon of the Kingair 90! It is planned to start running next weekend 10th/11th and will run every weekend from that point forward!! If you have any questions please ask here! If you need anything please ask! This weekend we will be jumping 9am to sunset! Come out and get current, we will also hold a gear check seminar Saturday and Sunday with a rigger so you can make sure your gear is ready after sitting the winter!     same here, Paul is awesome, helped me on my budget as a jump pilot. I even have travel benefits on an airline so I flew to him to pickup the rig, he met me at the airport! Then he EVEN met up with me at the expos and gave me some packing tips and gear tips! He is an AWESOME person, you can feel very confident doing business with him! Also cool to see a boogies!

    The seminars have been awesome, learned a ton, the expo hall has been amazing, done some great networking. As an ops manager at a DZ made some good connections as well, hope to make my DZ everything it needed last year this year. As for skydiving, pppppppppppppoooooooooooooooooooooooppppp, im leaving noon tomorrow, but I see as jump pilot weather wise good jumping from 730am start till 1130amish/noonish then the wind will get nasty, manifest said first call is 730am and i plan to be on it!! My names rick, im 23 and look like im 15 come find me for some low jump belly flying
