  1. Any time you limit -some- research, you limit -all- research. It becomes -very- difficult to work completely outside the system and there is no free expression of ideas between researchers inside and outside of the system. BULLLSHIT..... you are so far off the mark
  2. both situations describe a person who has reached their desperation point. At that point it doesn't matter from witch side of the scale they came from. both capable of doing horrible things equally ....
  3. First, I don't want anyone to think that in any way I condone these acts, (not torture but but more sub-human treatment ) I am not making a excuse but more of a thinking point of how we may have gotten here. flash back to the early 1990's and the fall of the soviet empire... the subject of the day was piece dividend, cut military, cut CIA bending to political pressure the military and CIA had their budgets cut back to post 9/11 being blind sided by lack of intel ( partially due to CIA budget cut) we went to war and had to rely on reserve units .... a great percentage of them did a excellent job, one did not,
  4. I think I know where you are going with this, this has been a challenging week, I have thought long and hard about a similar subject, my conclusion is, I wouldn't want my friend, that I truly love to change a thing... it is better to have loved and lost, seeing life at its best in full bloom is awesome. The moments that I have are incredibly valuable. I cannot impose my values on anyone, I can only cherish what I have. some of you may think I am rambling, but I know some will get it. Love exceeds sorrow ....
  5. Danger Danger Danger will robinson!!!!!!!!! trust me I love good drugs and booze, just kicks it up so much better .... but any drug that end in cet like darvacet , percocet loricet .... the CET is Acetaminophen very bad with booze , kinda melts the liver .... so if you have any questions ASK or research any counter indications. http://www.webmd.com is a good ref.
  6. I would hardly describe gitmo as a secret military prison, it is a detainment facility, the trouble with just putting them on trial is, the burden of evidence. I know that sounds like we dont have any, but in the process of war you dont have a crime scene, you dont stop and take pictures and finger prints, you round them up and, the good guys put you in a detainment facility, the bad ones just kill you... the fact that we dont have a case to bring doesnt necessarily mean that they should go free
  7. Bill, From what I've read a Gulag is a Forced labor camp... and everything I've seen from gitmo is 3 hots and a cot ... much different, but it gives a good question to ponder? what do you do with several hundered people that hate you and would love to become martyrs and blow you up ??? put yourself in the position of, peoples lives depend on it ... you set them free and they kill, its on your shoulders... you get to think about it for the rest of your life.... I have to be honest, its a tough question,
  8. I cant believe nobody has said it yet , a simple yet underused word that everyone wants to hear... YES
  9. so how was dinner ? if you dont mind me asking
  10. Well it sounds like things are going well, lucky you :) as for being dramatic, the tough thing about new relationships is, it is at a time when emotions are high, call it infatuation, love, warm fuzzies, what ever you chose to label it, and the foundation of trust, commitment and security have not fully developed, so that enables the evil feelings of insecurity distrust or paranoia. they only tool to battle this is communication. Hope you have a good dinner tonight !!
  11. I would have to agree with Quade, simply ask them in a non confrontational tone, speaking only for myself if I was the male and bored and happened to go to that site and you "my girlfriend" saw that I had visited that site, the best approach for me, would be , if you said " hey honey are we all right??? cuz, I was online and had seen that you had visited xyz site and I just wanted to make sure things are good between us" I would then feel bad, for making you feel uneasy and then reinforce the fact that we are indeed good, by making a special effort to show my commitment ... IE a good amount of pampering... now if he was really looking, by not being confrontational while asking, I think you would be in a better position to evaluate his response .... IMHO...
  12. depends in what context... are they bored just lurking around or is it a consistent methodical search..... and how did you find out? and who's computer is it ??
  13. Nick, as for checking at my DZ, Ive been at Perris since 91, any ideas who is still there that would have some copies, I forget the last time I saw you out there, didnt even really know you left .it would be helpful if someone of base history significance to lead a "save the video" project. I am sure with our connections with film industry people, the proper procedures for preservation of the film could be found ,
  14. Nick, do yo have any idea if the film that carl shot is still around. has there been any attempt to preserve it, transfering it to a non degrading medium ?? it would be a shame if it gets lost.... I would love to see some of it Barry
  15. I started in 91 and pulling low was what we did from time to time, usually on a sunset jump... but back then I was jumping a Falcon that needed only about 75ft to open, you knew within a fraction of a second that you had a good canopy... the high performance canopy's of today can take 1,000 feet to open on a good snivler... I think todays youngsters are applying what they perceive with todays opening's with what we did years ago,
  16. Please dont let this turn into a Ground speed vs Airspeed argument... unfortunately the skill of spotting " by skydivers that is " has gone by the way side ... the ability to read the spot is a art form, it used to be fun
  17. >Yep, big difference. A few hundred US troops died as a result of what GW did, and a few thousand innocent Iraqis. How many people did Clinton's blowjob kill, again? So its OK to lie under oath if nobody dies? yes people die in war, its a sad fact. its very easy monday morning quarter backing when you dont have the security of a entire country resting on your shoulders. I believe Gw was doing what he thought was best for the security of the USA.
  18. Everyone is getting upset by a single sentence in the State of the Union speech... it was not testimony under oath in court, the sentence was true , British Intelligence did say sadam was trying to get fisable material. If Sadam didnt plan on restarting his Nuclear program why did he have his scientist bury items that they had already developed , and were hiding from inspectors??? I personally think GW was doing what he thought best for the security of the USA , as opposed to BJ bill who was trying to save his ass .... big difference here !!!
  19. I dont know looks like forplay to me, the gun isnt loaded!!!! at least there are no rounds showing in the pic .....
