in free fall. especially my legs. its like i forget they are even there. and if i dont pay CLOSE attention to my arms i have no idea where they are... how long does this last?? or does anybody know any tricks. if i am more in-touch with my body and know what its doing, it will be a better skydive.. hopefully doing stp-6 this weekend! To a smaller canopy!! and it rocked! I was doing 260 through all my training. but they let me use a 230 on my last jump. I weigh 170#s I dont know if it was the canopy, or just my head because i was so stoked for getting a different canopy, but it seemed to go much faster. and it was funner! I dont know if they will let me go much lower than that.. What is the average for a skydiver who weighs around the 160-180 range? "In this game you can't predict the future. 'Moose' is also slang for an unattractive woman, so it always makes me giggle too because it's so offensive! I think it's UK-specific slang though - am I right? yea thats UK-specific... I am new to this sport so still dont know all the health related things to it. But when i told my dad i went skydiving he told me he had always wanted to do that. before you go off and say " yea he can", i wanna give yall a little background on him.. He is 48. He recently had a liver transplant. I *think* he has kidney issues... not sure on taht one though... but i am pretty sure his heart is in good condition... Im pretty sure i would have to get it cleared by a doctor, but i wanted to ask people who really know this sport.. what do you think? "In this game you can't predict the future.
