Mar- Remember, Billy's married (and he did have a nipple ring that you liked...) ----- ~~~Michael

Yes it has...I'm thinking it was maybe 20 or so years ago - I just know I didn't have my drivers license. Do a little searching. There's a town on (under actually now) the Mississippi river that is now under the river. There was an earthquake on the new madrid fault that caused the mississippi flow north for a couple days and also redirected the river... ----- ~~~Michael

PM'd...I read one of your other posts and then got to the volunteer one. I should get in the habit of reading them all, then replying if necessary... ----- ~~~Michael

The requirements to jump at the WFFC are 50 Freefall skydives, not static line. Once you get signed off to Freefall, then your jumps start counting. The gear check group at the front door will nit pick your logbook. (Notice I didn't say Protrack) ----- ~~~Michael

Mar is so nervous when she's doing balloon jumps, unless you throw some rappelling into the mixt to keep her mind off the jump. ----- ~~~Michael

Not sure if a probable off airport landing would be a good idea...

Yes...no permits...Just keep in on the base though. Not sure if the boys in blue, as great as they are, would appreciate you running down mainstreet to the IGA... ----- ~~~Michael

you could always volunteer to pass your time... ----- ~~~Michael

Ummm...You're way behind...You've got less than 45 days! ----- ~~~Michael

Yes...the onsite instructors, not just an AFF jumpmaster. ----- ~~~Michael

Grandma's neighbor had a squirrel feeder - basically a cut broom handle with a weight on the end. The other end was an ear of corn. Squirrel goes up the pole to get some corn, weight on top is heavier than the bottom. You now have the newest squirrel amusement ride - The Tilt-a-Squirrel... ----- ~~~Michael

Ask her about ghost hunting. She's on her way over now so we can go check out a place... ----- ~~~Michael

Depending on the day, also look at BMI - It's 45 minutes away and has deals too. There's a ride sharing thread started on the freefall.com message board but you could probably start your own here too... ----- ~~~Michael

When? I'll be around... ----- ~~~Michael

Real logbooks vs. audible altimeter logging
WFFC replied to peek's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
True...but if your 'friends' are thinking, they won't be padding your logbook to send you off to the WFFC... ----- ~~~Michael -
Bottom line - Jack dishes out the cash to make this happen for all of you. If you intend on using the tent, send some cash. There are those who are not even going who have sent cash for you enjoyment. If Jack does not get reimbursed for the cost, he'll probably not do it in the future. Why deal with the headache. ----- ~~~Michael

she's just using him for sex... ----- ~~~Michael

right. It was removed from the DZ.com listing when I got access to it (the dz.com listing). When the AZ Otter arrived in CO, I added it back on. So, the DZ had an Otter that was flyable when it was listed. Nah...the facts are never exagerated . My goal is to keep the facts straight on two of the CO dz's websites since I'm maintaining them. (added Note: only responsible for one dz.com listing though) ----- ~~~Michael

No...The Geneva Convention applies to organized governments. Al Queda is not a recognized government so this is kidnapping followed by murder.

Low Time Jump Pilots HEED MY WORDS
WFFC replied to diverdriver's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
Which begs the question, does your DZ have insurance on it's aircraft? Current Home DZ - No Former Home DZ - Yes -
Just be courteous to the neighbors and don't go destroying corn. While it may seem fun, you're damaging the farmers crop and, well, if you got chased in your golfcart by a combine and a shotgun, you'd definately deserve it... ----- ~~~Michael

More injuries occur during weather holds than not... ----- ~~~Michael

...Got you on this one...It's in the former helicopter hanger. The tail and wings are off go get in in there. It's kind of sad looking right now, but it's getting everything done to it that it needs to have done.

From your site: got an attorney for the DZ?
-
Derek- Since I took over a bunch of the web stuff for this particular DZ, the TwOtter was initially removed. It was readded this spring after the DZ contacted me to advise that the Skydive AZ otter would be there. You are only partially correct in your statement. Make sure you know the facts before stating things as fact. As for the other DZ listings, the multiple listings are all in Canon City so you can't pick on Mile Hi for this one. ----- ~~~Michael
