I unloaded the trailer today. Just let me know when you're coming to get the rest of the stuff. BTW, the orange pylon got left in Rantoul. I couldn't condone stealing it from the city. ----- ~~~Michael

Ahhh...The list. There are a few people that arrived before I did, but other than the setup crew, there weren't many. So, memories: ~getting the internet cafe up and running with Cajones, Chango and Pabellon and not having too many issues through the week. ~Webcams up and running. ~Don and other senior staffers wondering where the hell the WebTeam was hiding the Bell 412 that was on one of the cams daily. ~An email from a friend with simply - Thank you - in reference to the webcams. ~being able to cross the catwalk in hangar 2 without incident. (Heights don't bother me, but I prefer to have something solid beneath my feet, not a grate) ~Catching the last of the cypres fire on top of hangar 2 with Casie. ~Stupid human trick awarded to the two who landed the Mr. Bill in front of the FAA. ~hanging with Grafico for a few days. ~swooping a tandem with Bill Clayton, the airport manager. ~Bill Clayton telling his 'Dollar Ride' story around the campfire and then presenting Ralph with a framed dollar. ~Nightly fires in Camp Colorado with friends and anyone else who decided to stop by. ~seeing video of 2 separate on plane mals (one being the canopy over the otter tail, other was a pilot chute out in the King Air - Good catch Elvisio) ~learning that SDA has a new owner, than being corrected by the present owner since it was news to him. ~Helicopter jump with Ralph and Hairy. ~New custom suit from Sherry @ Firefly. ~one stolen golfcart (and being a bit suprised by who took it - and how many others they 'borrowed') and finally ~the last official load of the WFFC: Balloon jump with Cajones, Lew, Mar and Norman Kent. Shane, thanks for the extra altitude. Needless to say, I can't wait till the prints from Norman Kent arrive. Need some new wall candy to remember this year by. Until next year, be safe and watch out for one another. ----- ~~~Michael

The Brother IZ song was followed each morning by the national anthem. It was very cool to watch people (who were up at the time) stop what they were doing and find a flag on the DZ to look at. ----- ~~~Michael

Chatted with a lawyer in the internet cafe while he was here. It will depend on whose opinion on the reading you follow. In any case, the 2004 WFFC Stupid Human Trick award goes to... ----- ~~~Michael

real technicality here. The rule reads: one person, single harness, dual parachute (main/reserve) system or two people, dual harness, dual parachute (one main/one reserve) system. the literal reading, these two violated the FARs. ----- ~~~Michael

I've got the video. I'll post it when I get home when I've got a bit more time. Bottom line, this was the best display of stupid human tricks so far at the WFFC. Hopefully, this is the last. ----- ~~~Michael

It was actually mounted just above the ATM machine. The ATM was a fatality during the storm and they got it going again as well as placing an enclosure around it. The cam was bouncing around during the transition. ----- ~~~Michael

the Q town has These many fine events in place of the WFFC. It seems that the toothpick holders annual convention was too much for them too. Didn't see it on the calendar. ----- ~~~Michael

Well, internet will work before you show up...don't get too excited. Illicom, our ISP, will be hooking us up on Thursday noonish. I'm leaving shortly and will be there when they need me there. Phree and Bill V. will work to get a wireless signal over to the DZ.com tent, and then to a switch or something. Not sure what their entire plan is... ----- ~~~Michael

This is correct. If you're close, remember, Paxton is just up the road and they have a king air right now. ----- ~~~Michael
