  1. So are Icarus and NZ aerosports two different companies now? I'm confused!! Blues, Ian Performance Designs Factory Team
  2. I think it's pretty obvious who doesn't know what here. Buy their products then. Doesn't sound like he treated you disrespectfully. Regardless, judging by your responses here it's hard to believe you didn't do your best to provoke him. You sure do love burning bridges. Just don't get stuck in the middle of the island all on your own. Think about it....what manufacturer would want to associate themselves (publically at least) with attitudes like yours? 3. He does a ridiculous amount of jumps per year. This is a small sport, I doubt Jonathan T tried pissing all over a manufacturers shoes publicly like you have (for no apparent good reason). If you think other manufacturers don't read this board and disapprove of your approach I suspect you're wrong. If you want to be like "the pros" try acting like them. Stomping your feet hasn't gotten you anywhere, in fact I suspect you've done nothing but set yourself back. If you truely had a grievance that was valid, you certainly didn't try and resolve it with the manufacturer first. What makes you think anyone else would want to touch you with a 10 ft pole? 4. Did you know you can't uncook an egg. Performance Designs Factory Team
  5. Isn't it NZ aerosports now? http://www.nzaerosports.com Blues, Ian Performance Designs Factory Team
  6. Mindway69 and I will be there for the swoop meet. Blues, Ian Performance Designs Factory Team
  7. Funny, I hear the same thing from a jumper regularly. Funny thing is if I rode a bike like he flies his canopy I'd be a grease streak on the road in a heartbeat. If he offered me advice on riding a bike though, I'd sure listen. Wonder why it doesn't work the other way around. Blues, Ian Performance Designs Factory Team
  8. We could take him out back and shoot him like old yeller Performance Designs Factory Team
  9. Amen brother....amen Performance Designs Factory Team
  10. If that were true you'd look like The Hulk. Normally when you're dragging your ass outta the pond you look like a drowned rat Tell ya what though, N-TAC cannot unfortunately make it, but if you send me some details I'll do what I can to round up some funds around Skydive Atlanta. 11. Then they've lost perspective. Any canopy loaded at @1.68 is aggressive. You're showing how little you really know right now. I did. It's true. The more I jump my canopy the more I realize how much untapped potential there is. Good luck with your choice. You've obviously already made it. I just hope no-one sells you the canopy, but someone inevitably will. Blues, Ian Performance Designs Factory Team
  12. I am going to fly so close to you this weekend that they'll hear your asshole slam shut in Alaska Performance Designs Factory Team
  13. Find a DZ that has GOOD pilots who care about you. They're wrong. Buy a canopy based on what you need NOW, not what you think you'll need in 200 jumps. If you're asking that question you have no business being on that canopy. The information is out there, it's not just loading, but wing size as well. 1.68 - XF2, 180 degree turns under an unfamilar canopy, 200 jumps.....don't you people learn anything? I put 600+ jumps on a single canopy in one season and I'm still learning new things about it. What makes you think you have any understanding of your wing with 80 jumps and 95 jumps respectively on the wings you described? If you think this seems overly negative in tone, TOUGH, I just had a friend life flighted out on the weekend because he wouldn't listen. Frankly, I'm getting tired of wasting my breath. I think Derricks sig line says it all "THINK" Blues, Ian Performance Designs Factory Team
  14. yeah no shit narcissism Performance Designs Factory Team
  15. Don't jump in them. Seriously. Should you find yourself in them full flight is the best to fly in. There is also a school of thought that going into brakes if your canopy suddenly collapses is something else to do (stay in full flight until then). Blues, Ian Performance Designs Factory Team
  16. Ben on the books at Skydive Atlanta for a little while already. Here's some stuff Skydive Atlanta is doing this year (first weekend went off spectacularly
  17. I know it doesn't directly address jump #'s but here are some of my thoughts.... Blues, Ian Performance Designs Factory Team
