    because he injured himself on a faulty board on my deck that I have been asking the landlord to repair since April. My landlord isn't even offering to pay the vet bill, only to now repair the deck. So what happened to my 84 pound chicken of a chocolate lab? He had a small abrasion on his back where he fell through a broken board in the deck. He then started scratching at it turning it into a hot spot which became infected. While we were at the vet his already elevated temp of 104 jumped to 106. We had to take him in the back and hose him down with cold water and then I had to hold ice packs on his chest and belly to cool him down. He's going to be fine

    I asked for some flaring advice back in June. I received a lot of really good feedback. I just got back to jumping again after 7 weeks off due to an ankle sprain.     I've been married and divorced once. I definitely don't need to do it again. Not saying that I won't ever, but I don't NEED to. Coming to the realization that I don't NEED it and can be pletty happy just being with someone I care about has made my life a much better place.     Born and raised in California. On my dad's side my grandfather was half American (since the mid 1700's) and half Irish and my grandmother was half Cuban and half Mexican. On my mom's side my grandfather was half Swiss and half Yugoslavian and my grandmother is a redneck from Arkansas. I grew up in a mostly hispanic community and was married to a Mexican.     0:4:1 Back to jumping after my ankle sprain 7 weeks ago and on my brand new Wings . My dad also came out and did his currency jump. He hadn't jumped since 2001. It was my father's day gift to him (I know, I'm an awesome daughter ). Our first jump together in 15 years was a tube at sunset.

    Just made my first jump since my ankle sprain. I tried this technique and it worked well for me. I was also jumping my new rig for the first time (beer! ). I was a bit nervous about possibly re-injuring my ankle and getting my new rig nice and dirty, but neither happened! It was a perfect tip toe landing. Thanks so much to all of you who gave such great advice. I really appreciate it. Oh, and I do plan on taking a canopy course in Davis next month.
