    Hi, no I didn't take my blood pressure pre & post jump. Haven't jumped since the aneurysm was discovered during an MRI scan about 5 weeks ago. Normally my blood pressure is totally normal, no tendency for hypertonia. I have to wait at least another 10 weeks until the thrombus around the coil is complete. It would be nice to know if I can put the idea of skydiving out of my head or if the risk is justifiable.     Hi, does anybody have some information about skydiving with a coiled brain aneurysm? Maybe some other skydiver who had a aneurysm coiled or clipped or a neuroradiologist. It is very hard to find information about this topic and of course my doctors do not have statistical data. I had a non-ruptured aneurysm on the left arteria carotis interna, that has been coiled about two weeks ago http://www.aneurysmfoundation.org/ba_treatment.html#ba_coiling I asked multiple neurosurgeons and neuroradiologists about their opinon and got totally different replies. Some said it shouldn't be a problem after 2-3 months while others said they don't know, but wouldn't do it if there are any doubts.     Hi, try to run sfc /scannow via START --> RUN. It checks the integrity of all system files and copies the original file from the Win CD if required. If this brings no errors, reset the TCP stack: netsh int ip reset c:\resetlog.txt then flush the DNS cache ipconfig /flushdns Hope it helps.     You can hide/change the browser user agent (which tells a web server which browser you are using) via different plugins. For example for firefox via https://addons.mozilla.org/de/firefox/addon/59 However, this won't affect the sitation with the german IP address. The only option would be to go through a US/UK proxy or use a VPN connection to tunnel your traffic to the US. I don't know if this is technically possible in your case as I am sure the military does not allow encrypted connections through their networks, as it would prevent them from seing what you are doing.     I don't believe in any higher lifeform and have a very catholic girlfriend. Causes no problems at all, but leads to interesting discussions Sometimes I even go to church with her and just enjoy the show. The first time I went to a tradtional catholic church service in Poland (she's polish) was very fascinating with all the old rituals and the choir singing in latin.     @kelpdiver Sure, but it doesn't necessarily include firearms although I admit they might be handy @mnealtx Aeeehm, nope, thats not what I said I recommend to re-read my posting. I was saying that we should not accept laws simply because they are in place a long time. That does not mean a law is bad, just because it's old. If you re-read my posting you will see that I consider the freedom of speech as one of the most important laws of them all!     Hmm, I don't think so. Just because I think guns are stupid, doesn't mean automatically that I am against them. I also don't like racism, but don't think that we should block websites that promote facist ideas (as its done in Germany). We still have freedom of speech and I think it should also apply to idiotic speeches. May I quote Voltaire here: "I disapprove of what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it." I totally agree, but the taking away peoples right to bear arms wouldn't be discriminating if it applies to everybody, while it would be discriminating if this applies only to a certain part of the population.     To be honest: No, i don't think so. The ministry of propaganda under Joseph Goebbels worked very efficiently. It wasn't "just" the SA and later the SS, but after a while the whole country had a ultrapatriotic/fascist mindset. Normal people who were living normal lives became narrowminded, obedient facists. Guns wouldn't have prevented anything. This is also the part that really scares me, that it is possible to fill people with hate. It is definitely beyond the scope of a internet forum to discuss the whole aspects of the circumstances and I am also way offtopic.     Hi, you got me wrong. Although being German and regarding myself as totally liberal, I am pro-guns. Not that I need one. I also think the disadvantages far outweight the advantages. I even think the whole reference to the 2nd amendment is total BS (a society needs to evolve and always question decisions in the past, therefor a law, >200 years old, cannot be taken for granted just because it has always been there). But I simply don't like government restrictions in any kind or any form. A governments purpose is not to rule its people, but to implement the will of the citizens. If the majority of the population thinks guns should be banned then ban'em.     Hi, sorry I don't have the time to read the whole thread at the moment, but if your concern is to keep your finaces son away from the safe, maybe you should rely on something different that a fingerprint reader. Fingerprints are easily cloned. All you need is a printer, wood glue, a digital camera and some superglue. Here is a video about how its done.
