I have 2 access points running B (actually 3, but I plan on getting rid of one) at the moment, one on each side of the house, and 3 wireless phones. If I go forced only G, that would be another channel in the 2.4 ghz. I don't really need the backwards compatibility since I already have a B network. Besides, if you mix B and G, you're going to only get B speeds anyways. Gosh, I'm SUCH a geek ;) I promise not to TP Davis under canopy.. on a side note (since we're talking wireless) Since I scored big time on my Orinoco AP-2000, I hav ehe option of going dual mode. I've got a B in the one slot and I'm debating on whether to go G (forced at G only) in the other or go A. I'm thinking that even tho A has a samller coverage, I'd be better off in the 5ghz band where there'll be less interference.. Opinions? I promise not to TP Davis under canopy..
