2 Questions (for the moment) I'm going to be demoing a Spectre 170 while my Omega 180 is out being relined. I just recieved the Spectre today and noticed that the risers they shipped are mini. I jump a Vector 3 with the regular rings and an RSL. Are there any issues I need to be concerned with in using the mini's on my rig or should I just put the Spectre on my risers? I'd prefer to leave it as is (on the mini's) unless it's unsafe (aside from the mechanical advantage of regular over mini rings) Any concerns over the RSL? On to the canopy questions: , any opinions on flare technique for the Spectre? Before I got my Omega,which I have about 170 jumps on, I used to rent mostly Omega's and Saphire's and that was a while ago. Anybody jump both and want to outline the differences? As a side note, the Omega is an older model that's subject to the different sizing so in reality, the Omega is a tad bit smaller. I promise not to TP Davis under canopy.. Hey everyone, My Omega 180 is about due for a new line set cause the lines are getting a bit frayed, most notably the loops connecting to the s links (used to be rapide link, which I think caused a lot of the wear). Anyways, does $300 sound about right for the line set and replacement? Also, I guess I can either have the local loft replace the set, or send it back to Icarus for the work. I'm thinking that it would be better to have the manufacturer do the work but was wondering everyone else's opinions. TIA I promise not to TP Davis under canopy.. Same in Ca, you can't deny visitation if the other parent isn't paying. On the other hand, CS is based on the percentage of time that the child(ren) is with each parent. So a parent that has visitation every weekend would pay less than a parent who has their kids every other weekend. IT's a one way relationship, amount of visitation helps determine CS, but CS doesn't determine visitation. Having been there, done that and still gone thru court, my advice would be to leave NOTHING ambiguous. Spell it all out, including who is to do pick ups and drop offs. The less ambigous it is, the easier it is to enforce if there is an issue. foe example, if your visitation is to have the kids home an hour before their bedtime, the police can't do athing about it because they can't take your word (or hers) that bedtime is really 8pm. This is not to say that you and your ex can't change things or do things different as life goes on, b that depends on how well both of you communicate and get along.
