hmmm.. some good ideas here @Deuce true that, it may be overwhelming. How long did it take you to get thru AFF tho? One of my concerns is that she'll get 1, 2 and maybe 3 done, then it'll be 3 or 4 weeks til 4 and then 5 and so on... I guess I'm trying to say that it can be equally overwhelming to wait a long time in between levels. try to overcome the fears and remembering what you did right and wrong from a month prior. (Not to mention currency issues) @Eddie Again, very true. I hope the intention of this thread isn't misunderstood. Okay peeps, voice your opinions. Our very own Skye is bustin her ass working manifest and video every weekend to save for AFF. Her plan is to save up for level 1-3 and do those. Then do the rest whenever she has enough money. I'm wondering if it would make more sense to save up for all of it, get the discount for paying up front, and knock all 8 levels over the course of a few weekends in a row. She could also do her L1 now, and bang out each level when she has enuf money. I think at the rate she's going, she'll have made enuf money by Aug or so regardless of when she starts. It's her choice of when or if she wants to, I just thought it might help her if she heard others opinions I promise not to TP Davis under canopy.. My current job has me out in the field a lot which is kinda cool. Anyways, this morning I was assigned to go out to the Byron Boys ranch in the afternoon. A quick look on the map shows the ranch being 5 minutes the other way from my DZ. A quick check of the calendar tells me the kids are going to their mom's tonite. Anybody gonna be out there today? but they're saying the problem is that the 11b frequencies are overlapping with the uplink frequency, not the fact that it's 11 megabit. I have an orinoco AP 1000 with an A and a B card(interchangeable) if you wanted to borrow it, one for bridge, one for the network.
