Thanks Kreg.... I'm assuming that you flake the nose just before you push it into the middle? This looks a lot like how you treat the nose in a flat pack, no? baby's hungry and the money's all gone. the folks back home don't want to talk on the phone.

Thanks guys.... and just to clarify, I am DEFINITELY not going to be jumping a 126 :) . I am also under the MAX weight for the 181 (unless I gain 15lbs really quick) baby's hungry and the money's all gone. the folks back home don't want to talk on the phone.

I dunno, I can see Speed's point about a recurrency jump at his old DZ. If I'd been out for over a year, I'd be anxious as it is, jumping at a familiar drop zone would ease that for me. baby's hungry and the money's all gone. the folks back home don't want to talk on the phone.

Thanks for clearing that up Rob..... Just out of curiosity, how or does SB1221 fit into this? With this in mind, how concerned would you be and what precautions would you take? I have a Dash M 181 and I am about 210 out the door and most of my jumps are sitfly recently . I was reading the specs for my reserve and was surprised to find out that the 181 max weight is 222 at MSL. I am always on my belly by 4 and pulling between 3.5 and 3 I realize the obvious would be to go bigger or a different brand, Any other advice ( what if the only choice for me was to use this reserve, or not jump at the present?) baby's hungry and the money's all gone. the folks back home don't want to talk on the phone.

Bill Booth wrote I believe the previous poster was referring to something that Bill Booth wrote in another post. I am interested in the answer as well since I also have a Dash M. Councilman24, you quoted for Precision's web site that Is this the same thing? It sounds to me as if Precision is not using a reinforcing tape but is double folding the seams. IS this the case? Would someone mind clarifying this a little better? TIA Gary baby's hungry and the money's all gone. the folks back home don't want to talk on the phone.

Mal report - begginers should read this

This is very interesting to me. I just bought a set of risers for my rig and noticed they did not have the stows. I asked how much it would cost to have them sewn on and the guy helping me mentioned that they aren't really necessary if the toggles are locked in place. Oh well, and I thought it was expensive to rent rigs... $20 for this little mod, 50 there.... la te da.... baby's hungry and the money's all gone. the folks back home don't want to talk on the phone. -
Along these lines... Can the leg straps be lengthened? I just bought a used Vector 3 and the fit is pretty good except for that I can no longer putthe rig on my shoulders THEN bend my legs back to put them thru. On the other hand, it is nice not having the extra foot or so of strap to deal with (which liked to come loose in freefall on the rental gear) If not, any recommendations to putting the gear on and keeping handles safe besides the obvious? baby's hungry and the money's all gone. the folks back home don't want to talk on the phone.

*:2:2 Point learned, if you want to get in more than 2 jumps in a day, you have to get there before Noon and or hook up your own main to the risers, Or are you allowed to? Another question I should know 1st Jumping my own rig for the first time, who heard sweet nothings. 2nd first time jumping without a cypress BUT, it turns out a friend of mine is selling theirs and will take payments, WOO HOO!! Except my baby is Still not home :( The first #, well there was this Coppertone Tours bus that reare ended me and the models REALLY needed more coppertone applied.. well you get the drift baby's hungry and the money's all gone. the folks back home don't want to talk on the phone.
