i don't mine anyone being rich. as long as they earnt it - and didn't get it at my expense which is what is happening at the moment. you volunteer your own money to them - not mine thankyou... stay away from moving propellers - they bite blue skies from thai sky adventures good solid response-provoking keyboarding

actually, they don't. who wants an educated housekeeper, driver, gardener, shop staff etc... competent yes, but not educated - that would be a waste of their money and a threat to their authority. educated people tend to make their own money - and keep it themselves. so too much education is a threat. hence the dumbing down of education in the us (and making it so expensive that only the rich can get it). have you read the time machine? - an extreme example of the rich getting richer. and remember we're talking about an accelerating process here. a hundred years from now and it's possible that the top 1% will earn over half the world's income/wealth. a hundred years later 90%. not good.... stay away from moving propellers - they bite blue skies from thai sky adventures good solid response-provoking keyboarding

i don't see what your point is - the rich are getting richer the world over (and accelerating away from the rest of us). the us is just the extreme end. can't last. won't end happily... stay away from moving propellers - they bite blue skies from thai sky adventures good solid response-provoking keyboarding

Don't know a thing about about the income gap, but if those two sentences are any indication, the education gap among the polarized is getting worse. -Blind the rich don't like educated people (they're a threat)... stay away from moving propellers - they bite blue skies from thai sky adventures good solid response-provoking keyboarding

The crash of 2001? Don't you mean when the dot-com bubble began to burst. Sorry the dot-com bubble began to burst in 1999 not 2001. that's very interesting. meanwhile as you stumble from tree to tree the rich are getting richer at our expense - can't end happily... Yeah, it's too bad you don't have the opportunity to make a better life for yourself, that you can't work smarter and earn more money, that you can't join that richest 1%. Oh, wait, I was wrong. You can.

yes it is. 'bread and circuses' is an old roman saying. the indian and irish famines were both within civilisations with plenty of food. there was a choice not to feed the particular groups that starved. stay away from moving propellers - they bite blue skies from thai sky adventures good solid response-provoking keyboarding -

it's the backbone of any civilisation. it's like saying look at me 'i can walk'. meanwhile in europe and the us more and more citizens are being forced onto the breadline. not looking good for any of us. goodness me. 'palaces' and 'starving' wasn't literal. i think you're taking too much comfort that the world's superpower is managing to keep its citizens from actual starvation. those on the 'breadline' are increasing and the super rich get richer. stay away from moving propellers - they bite blue skies from thai sky adventures good solid response-provoking keyboarding
