  3. No, you didn't - you thought you'd get in a quick slam like you usually do. so you do believe in a national health service... 4. Re-read post 10. Then post something that proves your claim. So far, you haven't. redlining - does it, or does it not, exist? Not applicable to your claim. Keep trying. it's a simple question... Yes, it is - it's also not applicable to your claim. DO try to stay on-point, old bean. in your opinion - now answer the question or concede the point... You have to PROVE the point before it can be conceded, don't you think? if you don't want to answer a simple yes/no question about the subject then you have conceded... 5. Your point was taken - I was confirming this with my own account. Most people don't have the option to work for large telecoms and defense contractors, or small financial and Internet companies like I do. Drew also has very good education and specialized skills that make him an asset. The tens of thousands of out-of-work auto employees don't necessarily have the options we do, and those are the people that I am discussing. Right and I am all for being rewarded if you put yourself somewhere that you can get such great coverage, I don;t like that Canada restricting private health providers. I don't think a citizen should be denied coverage or required to go bankrupt if their appendix bursts. I know you're kinda on the same page. I just wonder what beats at the heart of someone who so objects to a poor family getting medical attention from checkups to surgeries. Ah, more appeal to emotion from Lucky - how (un)surprising. You keep forgetting about Medicare/Medicaid in your 'oh, but the poor aren't covered unless we pass this bill' soliliquies. how's granny coming along? stay away from moving propellers - they bite blue skies from thai sky adventures good solid response-provoking keyboarding

  12. this would be better phrased 'some believe that all citizens should have healthcare even the poorest and the sickest' No. I think I worded my thoughts correctly. But you can word yours how you see it and THATS OK. See. That is EXACTLY my point. my words are more honest - if that is your point There are none so blind than those that refuse to see. i already have a national health service - and it has served me and my family well - as well as the poorest and the sickest. So why do you get all hot and bothered about a country that isn't yours? Why try to impose your beliefs on a completely different population? Why are you trying to be Big Brother and tell the U.S. what to do? We kicked you out of our lives once.... don't be surprised if we don't want to come back. a good idea is a good idea. for instance we only introduced a minimum wage here about ten years ago - but you'd thought of the idea long before that

  17. i find this comment racist... The Dems telling minorities "you couldn't make it without us" *IS* racist - congratulations, you FINALLY got one right! well it would be if they did say that - but of course only racists say that (or put it into others' mouths) Like you constantly do, you mean? prove it

  24. I don't know what that means? Are you telling me that all 40 million non insured Americans can't afford it? Every single one of theirs salvation is only through a national health care!?! Again, nothing down the middle with you, just left or right, up or down? a national health service would mean no-one was uninsured so all your distinctions between those uninsured who deserve to die and those who do not is irrelevant... stay away from moving propellers - they bite blue skies from thai sky adventures good solid response-provoking keyboarding
