Put you in a suite with sun Glasses Strap you with a 25 lb bag and slip on shoe's take you to 9000ft in stormy conditions this time of year. fly you over the giford pichot forest and the washougal water shed and let you jump. You will have advantage's over Cooper you will have prior knowledge of the area and alot of survival and jump experience. but nothing else. you game. Jerry

And the area I'm talking about has never been clear cut Its been the Gifford Pinchot National Forest since before you were born. Amazon that wasn't in 1971. and it wasn't you jumping from that plane even you have better sense that to have jumped in those weather conditions. Hell He probably didn't even know how to deploy the chute. It was modified and not user friendly . The guy didn't have the experience necessary to even dress properly. If you been all over this terain you and I need to hook up I'll take you to some of the old mines Show you the old Indian cave's and trails they used to use.Jerry

377 I'm to young to be Cooper. The truth about the helo! is my cousin own's one.So I don't have to rent one.As far as, would I have survived that jump. Even with my training, it would have been tough I would not have attempted it to begin with. Not in that area. The terain is just to rough. Forest is to dense. The floor is to rocky a lot of volcanic rock pile's and cliff's most of the time the only way you can travel is down the center of a creek.Just ask Geof Gray. Im sure he'll back me up. Ther is not one person I have taken into that enviroment, that once they have walked a short distance in that terain that believe's Cooper could have survived that jump. 377 You and your daughter can rest easy. I won't kill any rabbits. Shelly has pet rabbits. I must admit the reason I got two rabbits was for meat. Then here comes shelly picking them up, hugging them.Then wouldn't you know it out poped 9 more. Hell you would have thought Shelly gave birth to them.To make a long story short I released 8 of them. Don't worry my Dog's protect them, and this area has seen an increase in it's rabit population.Kind of like when 3 wild turkey's were released here when I bought this place 3yrs ago, now there is over a hundred of them. Now we have more baby rabbits to release.Lot of turkeys, Deer, Elk,Sheep, Horses, Donkey, Trout,salmon in the pond and creek. Now Shelly want's a basset hound, a cow and a buffalo. Snowmman. Rabbit liver is worse. Alot of people make that mistake. Most people are eaten by polar bears and never have the chance to get close to there liver.Of course you knew that you also knew that in a artic enviroment where polar bears roam. That they start hunting you if your in there area for over 24hrs. They think your there next meal. Jerry

Snowmman. No problem on the leading you into the woods. What will take place is I'll chopper you in then drop you off. Sure snow will make a difference.Now I believe I read a post asking what cooper had on just before he jumped. According to Ralph's conversation with Tina and others he had no other clothes other than what he was wearing when he boarded.The last time he was observed he had not changed clothes or shoe's nor was there anything left on the aircraft to indicate he had changed clothes.Ive asked this question many time's. Maybe what should take place is you should ask these question's to those that were on the aircraft and to the agent's that did the investigation. Like I have. Most reports were compilled and confusing. However conversation's with those actually involved in the case give's a different picture.Jerry

Snowmman I don't have a model. What I do have is years of experience.What I took into consideration on my decision is the conditions at the time of the Jump. Weather, the way he was dressed, his inexperience involving the way he prepaired for the jump. and the area he landed in. Not even I could have survived that jump. I know of no one that could have. So lets see if we can find some fool with very little experience strap on a chute he is unfamiliar with and not user friendly. and no boots dressed in a suit with 25lbs straped to him at night with no none drop zone. Except a known dense forest during a storm and see if he survive's. Orange 1 do you know of a candidate for this jump How about you slugo. Jerry

Jo your so full of it. I have maps you sent me showing a fire tower that duane suposedly burried the money under. I have another map you sent me in 2000 Describing a boat trip accross Lacamas lake to a road then down to the columbia river where Duane burried the money. When they brought you out to Portland for the documentary all you could remember was going across the I5 bridge. You could recongnize nothing.Then for some strange reason you started remembering places and you stated you went to some of these places. One of which was demolished 3mos prior to your visit. I believe I posted this before.After I made that post you came up with another place you never new existed untill you found it on a map on the internet. Face it Jo your fiction writing days are over.
