Exactly and to expound further on it this could really suck for us skydivers. I have no idea of what the agreement is between Don K (one of two WFFC organizers) and Rantoul but I'm sure that this particular WFFC in a brand new location is being closely scrutinized by the Rantoul during this infant year at this location. Regardless of who was at fault for this fatality (if the reports are true I think we all know that answer), having a fatality in the first 24 hrs isn't conducive to getting off on the right foot with local officials. Could hurt WFFC location problems down the road. Regardless; my condolences to his family.

Leaving the DZ Sunday night can be soooo painful. Re:Nick LOL...I can so relate to that. Aaahhh....sleeping in the car. I used to use my car like it was a hotel at the DZ.

Sorry, I've been away from DZ,COM for awhile. Are you out of Korea and on the mainland with a DZ close by? (Edited~ whered' I leran to type?)

With the exception of 1995-1998 when I actually lived at the DZ; I've never lived within 30 miles of my frequented DZ. I've also made the trip home from the DZ way too many times after a 'few too many' around the campfire only to turn around and drive back at 8am the next morning. My question is: What does everyone do each weekend? Do you stay on Saturday night and party at the DZ then drive home and return next day? Or, do you crash at the DZ and make it a killer (safe) weekend? (gravity- you gotta learn how to do that 'poll' thingie)

Come on....let it go folks... ...at last count it's about 135 posts to that one thread. I have no problem jumping with sheep regardless of their sexual preference, it's just that their arch is soooo baa~aa~aa~ d!! I once turned 10 pts with a heifer that I met at the Herd Boogie!!! (It was udderly amazing!!!) -
I had the opportunity to jump and party with Wesley Snipe's 'skydiving stunt double' at the Bent Prop at Eloy a few years back (Just before the movie DropZone was released). I can't recall his name now but he was really "good people". I hope I run into him again some day. Anyone know where he's jumping currently?
