I change it myself with a shorter one two weeks after I get it pierce. And this without any trouble. Just don't wait after you remove the long one. But after 3 month I remove it for more than an hour to do some dental XRay and I spent more than 20 minutes to put it back! And after fighting with it, my tongue hurt me for a day and start swelling up again If you leave in two weeks you can change it before your departure -- Renaud SMA #9 "Mind is like parachute. Is there a big difference between the 0.45 (That's what I use) and the 0.43 because at the door (on a King air) it's hard for me to get a good shot. I always have just parts of what I want to see on my video -- Renaud SMA #9 "Mind is like parachute. It only functions when it's open." -

Hi, I'm using the DCR-PC101 and at the beginning I was using the autofocus. The result was pretty bad and most of the time the action was blurry. Now I use the manual focus set it to infinity and tapped the ring, so the settings doesn't change. I also set it to the sport mode for the shutter speed. Recently I notice that the result wasn't as sharp as before . Do you have any idea or advise on this subject. I had some hard opening recenlty, and I was wondering if it was related. Hey all, I was about to get a stroboframe but they are running out of stock. So the only option they gave me was: if you find one somewhere, buy it because it getting really rare now, or buy the Bogen Quick Release. I just get a hook knife and there is no pouch with it. So I start thinking to put it directly on my Rig. I have some concerns about putting the hook knife directly on the rig. For example lots of people have it below the 3 ring system. I'm afraid that at this place the hook knife cut depends of the side the cutaway cables or the reserve cable. So my second thought was at the legstrap, but I'm not sure if it's a good place again. Do anybody have any advice or experience about that, don't hesitate to give your input. I had the same feeling at the beginning and now I'm getting use to it. Another thing is that if you don't pull down the slider before releasing the brakes it act pretty much like a canopy with normal risers. The only cons I see is that it's a little slower to set than normal risers when you have to pack -- Renaud SMA #9 "Mind is like parachute. It only functions when it's open."
