Maybe you dog is eating to grass to balance his diet. Your pup is in need of more veggies!!! My old dog used to always eat grass, I think he was trying to purge himself. It's common though among dogs. - Knic

That’s precious. You do realize LA has more large drop zones in close proximity than most likely any other place in the world. You have an embarrassment of riches in your back yard. Most people would be thrilled to have as many choices as you do so close. And whining about an hour and a half drive? I'd kill for that these days. I drive 2.5 hours to get to my DZ. I got a chance to play in the Paraclete XP Tunnel tonight and try out my bootie suit! I brought my lady with me to the tunnel, still showing her a window into my world. She had fun watching me figuring out what to do with my legs. Now laying down in bed watching her sleep and checking the forums. All in all it was a good day. - Knic

My buddies wife made him triple his life insurance policy prior to her agreeing to let him jump for a perfectly good airplane. Smart lady. I was pretty nervous, my legs kept shaking, had knots in my stomach like I never experienced before, and I must have been as pail as a ghost cause my instructors kept telling me to just relax. - Knic

My wingload with a PDR 160 would be 1.09375. For my Spectre 170, 1.0294117647058822. I have a few more jumps than was previously listed. I updated my profile, still realizing I am a rookie jumper. Thanks for your concern. - Knic

If any one know anyone selling a PD160R, Smart 160, or an Icarus 159 that would be awesome!!! I looked through the Classifieds and didn't see any, tear. I have already gotten a container, Mirage G4 M3 and I'm currently trying to close the deal on a Spectre 170. I have been working close with my rigger so he's watching over all my decisions so I don't make a huge newb mistake. - Knic

Yea my buddy ended up going to AAC and didn't really get too much from it. He wasn't able to stay in the column of air and just wound up frustrated and on the net. I had to calm him down, he was almost to the point where he didn't want to do the skydiving anymore. They gave him a VHS, so now we are going to hunt down a VCR so we can watch his performance, lol. He said that he was going to try SkyVenture in NC this weekend and if he couldn't find his balance in there then he was done. I don't want him to quit but i don't want him to be stuck on lvl 3 for the rest of his life either. Any advice to help save my jumping buddy? - Knic

I plan on training in free flying as my discipline. Later on down the line when I improve my flight skills under canopy I want to get into swooping. I have 21 stand-up landings to date (knock on wood) under the following chutes: 1x Saber2 260, 2x Saber2 230, 5x Manta 200, 13x Silhouette 190. My exit weight is 175. I was wondering what difference between 7-cell and 9-cell canopies. Everyone always says to buy used but they don’t really go into details about rules for buying, i.e. what’s too old to buy or too many jumps, things like that. Really any tips you could share with this young jumper would be greatly appreciated. - Knic
