Bad Press in Phila. Inquirer on Cross Keys Fatalities
Snowwhite replied to MJH's topic in The Bonfire
I told the following to the press here, when we had a fatality. "We feel very badly when we lose a friend, or family member, whether it be a skydiving death, or a car accident. We don't quit skydiving when one of ours dies, anymore than we would roll up the streets and quit driving if it were a car accident." The other thing I tell them is what a skydiver said to me once. "I can go out and live my life to the fullest each day, and I am sure to die, or I can sit in a closet and quietly wait for death to come, and it will surely find me. I'd rather live life to the fullest!" skydiveTaylorville.org freefallbeth@yahoo.com -
Steve, glad to see that you are able to post. Makes us feel lots better to know that you have come this far. Thanks for your help at the WFFC, and if there is anything we can do for you, let us know! Beth skydiveTaylorville.org freefallbeth@yahoo.com

I bought one of those for my grandsons birthday last year. I *um, hmm* WE had so much fun with it. Yea, WE. Well, I let him play with it after I left... skydiveTaylorville.org freefallbeth@yahoo.com

Thanks for sharing. Man, I missed sooo much! Even when I was there, I wasn't! skydiveTaylorville.org freefallbeth@yahoo.com

Materbating, so you use a BAT, is that on your alma Mater? skydiveTaylorville.org freefallbeth@yahoo.com

I like this advice, exept that I would pay a cop to go with me the first time I went there, because you will NOT get a second chance. Your crap will be gone. Do you have anything with a serial number recorded anywhere proving the electronics are yours? If not, good luck. skydiveTaylorville.org freefallbeth@yahoo.com

Have you? Beating, yes, clubbing, no. What club? Like the car thing/anti theft device, or the cave man oversized bat looking club? Or the disco kind? Or maybe the orgy kind? Hmmmm - Swingers - is that it? I got it right didn't I? Well, yea, or maybe it's the Turkey/Bacon/Lettuce Mayo kind of Club. I GET SOOOOO CONFUSED!! skydiveTaylorville.org freefallbeth@yahoo.com

He's twenty seven. They told us he would never live long enough for us to have to buy car insurance for him. Boy are we glad they were wrong. skydiveTaylorville.org freefallbeth@yahoo.com

JP broke three fingers while putting his hand in his pocket. Broke his ankle stepping off a curb. Broke ribs rolling over in bed. He's been on calcium supplements and has eaten more cheese than they have in France. He drinks a gallon of milk a day. Seems to be doing a little better. Hasn't broken anything for several years. *KNOCK ON WOOD* skydiveTaylorville.org freefallbeth@yahoo.com

That's the one. I've done a little research too, but things have probably changed since he was originally diagnosed. skydiveTaylorville.org freefallbeth@yahoo.com

Too cool. I'd love to carry on a long conversation with you sometime. My second son has OI IV, and he went thru one of those huge growth spurts too. He's currently about 6'2" although I am sure he will start shrinking as soon as his spine starts collapsing. skydiveTaylorville.org freefallbeth@yahoo.com

My wishes exactly, and when the cremation is done, don't put me in an urn on the mantel. Find 12 skydivers I've never met, buy 'em all a lift ticket and have 'em take me on my first skydive. It'll be tons cooler and cheaper than a funeral, and it won't make me take up any unnecessary space. skydiveTaylorville.org freefallbeth@yahoo.com

I haven't heard about the outcome of the surgery yet. It was supposed to last a LONG time. skydiveTaylorville.org freefallbeth@yahoo.com

And the nice nurses at Iowa Methodist in Des Moines gave him a nice shiney new back brace, and sang happy birthday to him! skydiveTaylorville.org freefallbeth@yahoo.com

Hey Buddy, sorry you are in the hospital right now. Hope you're feeling better REALLY soon. Streaker and I will buy you a birthday beer or six after they take the morphine pump away from you! Beth skydiveTaylorville.org freefallbeth@yahoo.com

Hey Everyone, Jack Bican from the Couch Freaks incident is undergoing 8 hours of back surgery, starting at 4 PM this afternoon. He is in the St. Cloud Hospital in Minnesota. He and his wife Kelly could use any good thoughts, prayers and well wishes we can send. I don't care what you think of the incident, we have a brother who needs our vibes right now. How about some well wishes? Beth skydiveTaylorville.org freefallbeth@yahoo.com

What's even more amazing is that the tone differences can be as variable within a musical instument family as they can be. It's pretty easy to figure out that even tho it has strings, a piano is a percussive instrument, and the tone is different than a stringed instrument, like a violin. What is amazing is that you can have 10 violins from the same maker with totally different tonal qualities. skydiveTaylorville.org freefallbeth@yahoo.com

Couch Freaks 2006! Labor Day weekend
Snowwhite replied to shellybellyfly's topic in Events & Places to Jump
I'm not sure how "easy" it would be, but the best dressed couple award was OURS! We were ROBBED! Truely, my attic is a treasure trove of nostalgia. Dave played in a band for 30 years and had some great tuxes, including the star spangled one we brought with, and a wide lapel peach polyester leasure tux from about 1973. Great bellbottom tux! skydiveTaylorville.org freefallbeth@yahoo.com -

Oh man, Streaker and I had GREAT poly with us. We were sorry we didn't take it to the hospitals with us to lighten things up a bit. We SOOOOO had that award sewn up. Guess we'll have to win it next year! skydiveTaylorville.org freefallbeth@yahoo.com -

Man, where did I put that tent? skydiveTaylorville.org freefallbeth@yahoo.com -
OK this maybe just a wierd way to practice ice driving but why the hell you people oil your roads That's a DAMN good question! I'm not really sure. We live out in a rural area and the country roads (off of the main roads) aren't the best. Every year or every other year, not sure which, they lay oil down and then they "chip seal" it, which is laying a layer of small rocks on it. Evidentally it's a cheap way of maintaining these rural roads. And it's a big pain in the ass. Chipseal, oiled roads don't wash away as fast in gully washers. Oiled roads don't leave as much dust flying about as rock only roads. Oil seal on ashpalt keeps the rocks all glued together better so the asphalt lasts longer. 10 years on City Council. I heard all the questions asked and answered. skydiveTaylorville.org freefallbeth@yahoo.com
