Very sad news has reached the offices of the WFFC. Long time friend and WFFC supporter/volunteer, Carol Allaman was stricken with an aneurysm on Thursday night. She had a valiant fight over the weekend, but passed away as a result of the condition. We will always remember Carol as that bright smiling person who never said "no" when we asked for help. Carol was scheduled to be a part of the safety briefing on Saturday at Taylorville, Illinois, after some good natured ribbing from the dropzone at Geneseo, Illinois about "who gets to have Carol for safety day this year." Sadly she never got to be a part of either event. Everybody knew that all you had to do was ask, and Carol would share her smile, her wisdom, her talent and her wit. Every year at the WFFC, Carol would gather a bunch of little kids on the spectator side to show them how a parachute worked. Many times you would look over, and she would have a crowd of adults peering over the shoulders of the kids to see this terrific lady explaining all of the mechanics of the rig, and the thrill of the jump. She would volunteer in Gear Check, or lend a hand at about anything that was asked of her. I'll particulary miss her in the POA meetings that we will be having to finish up plans for this years Convention. skydiveTaylorville.org freefallbeth@yahoo.com

Husbands and Wives Living Apart -New Trend?
Snowwhite replied to ACMESkydiver's topic in The Bonfire
Works for Streaker and Me. We've been living apart for about a dozen years. 3 and a half more to go, and he qualifies for early retirement, whatever the heck that is. I have 13 years to work after he comes back.. skydiveTaylorville.org freefallbeth@yahoo.com -
I have a client who has a beautiful table top that was made for her. It's gorgeous, well finished and cleans easily. skydiveTaylorville.org freefallbeth@yahoo.com

Do you get up and eat in the middle of the night?
Snowwhite replied to shortyj's topic in The Bonfire
Big glass of milk about 2 AM. What really pisses me off is the nights that I wake up to find out my son has beaten me to it, and there is no milk left. skydiveTaylorville.org freefallbeth@yahoo.com -
Last year, I had lunch with about 200 other people and Alan Greenspan one day, and the next day 200 people and Hillary Clinton. If the food hadn't have been free, I wouldn't have gone to either. I wore the same old used suit to both dinners. btw. Alan Greenspan was more more informative than Hillary. skydiveTaylorville.org freefallbeth@yahoo.com

hey, just do like the Brits did at the WFFC 99, bring em back to the DZ, skin em, and eat em. It was a fireside treat. MMMMmmmm~! skydiveTaylorville.org freefallbeth@yahoo.com

If you like the smell of it that much, wouldn't it be cheaper in the long run to just buy a bottle for yourself and a copy of Men Only ? Oh, and if you want the tears and pain that come with a relationship, spray it in your eyes. And if you need even MORE drama, make that pepper spray! skydiveTaylorville.org freefallbeth@yahoo.com

Our truck was less that a week old when Streaker hit his first deer. Messed that truck up something fierce, killed the deer. We have hit and killed two since. Sorry about your vehicle. It's a tough thing. skydiveTaylorville.org freefallbeth@yahoo.com

When I told a good friend of mine, also an attorney, that my son was taking the bar, his response was about his own experience. He said that none of the answers were wrong, some were just "more right". He said that several of the Harvard educated lawyers taking the exam were frustrated, upset and pulling their hair out during the exam. They were in fact, taking the exam for the second time. When I talked to my son after the fact, he told me about the extreme street repair they were doing right outside the window of the exam room in downtown Chicago. He did great, and so will these ladies. Good genes, good concentration, and GOOD FRIENDS! Congratulations for getting to this point! We'll drink one to you at the DZ when you tell us how terrific you did! skydiveTaylorville.org freefallbeth@yahoo.com

I find them hanging in my grape arbors, stealing my grapes just as they ripen. But the young ones like that are SO darn cute. Rats with black and white hair. I had a blind dog that used to catch them regularly. What's up with THAT?! skydiveTaylorville.org freefallbeth@yahoo.com

Hey! You've been slacking all this time and I didn't know it??!! Just think how happy we could have made Streaker if you had just gone North with me! Gosh we'll just have to make a future date for that , and he'll have a stroke and we'll both be rich! skydiveTaylorville.org freefallbeth@yahoo.com

I still think it was that first blowjob that won Streaker over. To this day I can't cook. skydiveTaylorville.org freefallbeth@yahoo.com

We live in a house that is over a hundred years old. Lots of people have done lots of dumb things in this place (including us, a time or two) The absolutely best way to get out an entire staple every time you try is to use plyers. Place the tip of the pliers against the floor as you grasp the staple, and then you have a fulcrum to lever against. Rock the pliers, instead of pulling them. Lots easier and faster than any other way. Any other way will occasionally leave very little pieces of the staple in the surface and the smaller the piece, the more difficult it is to remove. Little bits of staple will come thru wallpaper, or vinyl flooring. Btw, there were FIVE vinyl floors on our bathroom floor when we bought this place. skydiveTaylorville.org freefallbeth@yahoo.com

I went to our local Walmart once about 11 oclock at night. There wasn't a woman there who weighed less than 200 pounds, and they all stood right in the MIDDLE of the isles so that you couldn't pass on either side. I won't make that mistake again. These are the same morons who in McDonalds say to you "if I were as skinny as you, I have TWO of these (whatever the food dujour is)" And of course I bite my lip to keep from saying "if I ate TWO of these, I'd be as big as YOU!" skydiveTaylorville.org freefallbeth@yahoo.com

My son and his best buddy were always referred to as "the old men in the balcony" clear back in Kindergarten. They just kinda messed with all of the kids in class and then stood back and watched the mayhem. I always loved the sax player. I think I knew the guy they patterened him after. Same hair, hat and saxaphone. I wonder what George is doing these days... skydiveTaylorville.org freefallbeth@yahoo.com

5 hours ago, I would not have imagined having sex for the first time
Snowwhite replied to gontleman's topic in The Bonfire
Perhaps the fundamentals of aiming...but definitely not pleasing. It takes a while to learn the techniques of making a woman literally melt...and until you do, you'll never realize the power of the penis. Penis? Nay! TONGUE! But sounds like he's getting it. Anyway, he's coming to a bunch of us experts for advice and information, so he'll do WELL. Wish a few of my first lovers had had access to a forum like this! skydiveTaylorville.org freefallbeth@yahoo.com -
Yea! what all of them said! You'll be in my "opening prayers" this week. skydiveTaylorville.org freefallbeth@yahoo.com

Cool pics! Looks like some giant peed all over your trees and it froze. It's quiet here now. I have a little more shoveling to do in th morning and it'll be spring in a couple of days. skydiveTaylorville.org freefallbeth@yahoo.com

Hard to have sex alone. Well, guess not really, but it would have been more fun if I was stuck with Streaker. He was in Superior Wisc, where they got 10 inches of snow instead. skydiveTaylorville.org freefallbeth@yahoo.com

long night without power, and the morning was nuts. The few restaurants that had power were PACKED, but most everywhere was without. They said about 80,000 of us without it. skydiveTaylorville.org freefallbeth@yahoo.com

Hey Squeak, I suck at the techno crap, but the pics that Samaurai took could have been my front yard, especially the one that says "tree close up" I lost my power early last evening and JUST got it back. The inside of my house was 50 degrees, but that didn't matter because I have been outside shoveling for my clients, and breaking up the icejams in the street so if it freezes again, we don't have a big icerink right by where we park all of our cars. My trees were all groaning under the weight of the ice, which started melting off of them about 7 this morning, but now it is raining/freezing/snowing again, so we may be in for it all over again. At least we didn't get the 5 inches of snow they were talking about. If we had, there wouldn't have been a tree in town that could have taken that weight. I'd have to have Cocheese come and help me saw stuff up! skydiveTaylorville.org freefallbeth@yahoo.com
