looking for someone, search function doesn't work
Snowwhite replied to Snowwhite's topic in The Bonfire
I have always liked the search function on the dz.com site, cuz I could look up people from the WFFC by the real names their boring real parents gave them, or by the cool names their skydiver budds gave them. I have been trying to find Joseph Arsenault, and the search function on the dz.com site isn't working. It just takes me back to page one of zillions of skydivers who are registered on this site. Anyone have any suggestions? skydiveTaylorville.org freefallbeth@yahoo.com -

TShirthell.com They have some great ones. I especially like the baby shirt that simply says "Broken Condom" skydiveTaylorville.org freefallbeth@yahoo.com -
I live in a town of 40,000 people. Qualifies as a small town? I'm not sure, but I'll tell you how I started my business, which I have been successfully operating since 1986. I got involved in EVERYTHING, and I mean EVERYTHING. I volunteered at my kids school, ran for city council, served on it for 10 years, volunteered at church, serve as the Chairman of the Board of the Housing Authority, VOLUNTEER< VOLUNTEER< VOLUNTEER. People get to know you, know that they like you, trust you, and want you to be a part of the community. You can't be shy....and I'm not skydiveTaylorville.org freefallbeth@yahoo.com

Hey Kai, sorry to hear of your decision. Sorry more that you were forced to make one. I have another friend going thru the identical thing. She is giving up on the marriage instead. I can't tell you how badly I feel for both of you...... skydiveTaylorville.org freefallbeth@yahoo.com

[ There is hope for any system, even yours. The hard part is finding someone willing to sit down with you and show you how to keep it running smooth. Yup, that is what I had in South Carolina..Thanks again for the advice. I do have the lavasoft, but it doesn't seem to be catching more than 6 or 7 per, but that's better than nothing. I tried Avast last night at the suggestion of someone on the eanthology hotline, and while it started to catch some stuff, it TOO froze up. I think that I will try to run it while I have this freebie program keeping me clean(er) skydiveTaylorville.org freefallbeth@yahoo.com

Hey everybody, thanks for the suggestions. Actually, Adaware is what I do have for free that keeps freezing up. Rev Jim, nice of you to send me a link, but everytime I click into a link, I freeze up, too. Noadware is what I ran that found the most (240) bad owies, but it says to delete, I must buy, so I am going to try Spy Sweeper and Win Patrol, and see what happens. I have Noadware running right now, or I wouldn't even be able to be online. Boy is this frustrating. I have better things to do than to be messing with this. When we were in South Carolina, there was a nerdy little computer store where I went for help. Nice guys, not expensive, knew their stuff. NOT HERE, Geez! I feel like a roadtrip! skydiveTaylorville.org freefallbeth@yahoo.com

ok, so on these "free" detectors, are they only free to detect, but you must buy them to delete or quarantine whatever they find in your 'puter? I am very frustrated by the amount of CRAP on my puter, and the Adaware says it found 270 more, but it won't delete until I purchase. On the other hand, Eanthology and another one that I own lock up as soon as they start running. I am Pissed, and not able to contact the companies, cuz I can't get the pages to run. What do I do? skydiveTaylorville.org freefallbeth@yahoo.com

Streaker has been unemployed for 13 months now. I would truly love for him to go back to work. It has been 10 years since we lived in the same house together, since the employment picture in this area is TERRIBLE, and he has had to work out of town for all of those years. During this unemployment stint, he lived with me for about 6 months, what a change. He is currently working a temp job, low pay, no benefits, out of town. Anyone know of a company needing a crackpot purchasing kinda guy, give us a hollar! skydiveTaylorville.org freefallbeth@yahoo.com

I'll never forget the first time that the seat came down on Streaker. He's in the DARK bathroom, squeezing the thing with both hands as hard as he can, trying to stop the stream, and he's yellling "Beth! Beth! Open it up!" I can't see what he's talking about and by the time I turned on the lights, the fuzzy cover was completely soaked. This explains why we have NEVER had one since, and WON'T! skydiveTaylorville.org freefallbeth@yahoo.com

Freaking transmission went out!!!! $2400 to repair... :(

Had a Ford E150 Van, blew the engine. A friend replaced the engine and tranny with parts from his mothers totaled van. Complete cost $1300.00. This was 3.5 years ago. Still runs great. Check around. Especially the junk yards, find one that has been totalled and save a grand or more. REALLY! And some parts places install and guarantee LONGER than dealerships or garages. skydiveTaylorville.org freefallbeth@yahoo.com -
Cool, maybe a potato gun, too? skydiveTaylorville.org freefallbeth@yahoo.com

Yup you all have valid points. Thank goodness winter is coming and she will spend more time indoors. Peace for a couple of months at least. Slug, her husband usually leaves his garage about 10 pm, I know that he goes to work early, so he is rarely in the house with her. Man, I'd rather live in the garage than live with her, too! skydiveTaylorville.org freefallbeth@yahoo.com

I called the police twice last night. The first time they came up and tried to reason with her. The cop spent 40 minutes talking to her, and told me that her husband had to keep telling her to shut up, so the cop could tell her what would happen to her if she continued to harass me. He ended by telling her that she was to have absolutely NO contact with me, she was not to talk to me, look at me or make gestures to me. When he left, she came out of her house, over to the fenceline and started screaming at my kitchen windows again. I turned on the water and the garbage disposal to drown her out, and called the police back. They wrote up a complaint that I am going to take to the States Atty's office, but I told the cop, she is disturbing MY PEACE! I want her arrested for disturbing the peace, and I will sign a complaint. He said the St. Attys rarely file those charges, unless there is video or other evidence. Yea, come and stay with me, we could drive her over the top, she is nearly there already.... skydiveTaylorville.org freefallbeth@yahoo.com

Well some of the stuff so far. There is a 6 foot privacy fence, but she stands right at it and hollars obscenities. It's only 8.5 feet from the fence to my house, so there is no real privacy, and that 8.5 feet is all driveway, or I would have VERY THICK bushes there. We do have 2 dogs, but I had a dog die very suddenly and mysteriously a few years ago, so I watch everything that my dogs pick up when they are close to the fenceline (but Sammy is VERY cute, and I would love to have him him for much more than a week) When she has spent hours chasing me around, peering out of her windows looking at me, or standing at the fence line staring at me (GEEZ< DOESN"T SHE HAVE ANYTHING to do?) I have tried smiling and waving (the I can drive you crazy by being nice wave) Last Saturday she came and stood at the section of fence where my truck was parked. I had to go to work, so I put on sunglasses and headphones so that I didn't have to look at her, or listen to her. At the point where the truck was sitting the fence is 42 inches tall. She leaned WAY over it and within 4 inches of my face she yelled "YOU F&*(ING BIT&*!! at me. So I yelled back "get out of my face FAT LADY" Didn't faze her, she just kept yelling. I'm telling you she is NUTS, and obsessed. skydiveTaylorville.org freefallbeth@yahoo.com

Thank you, Thank you, I will check over some of this good stuff, and talk to you. skydiveTaylorville.org freefallbeth@yahoo.com

Mine just sit in the garage and drink and smoke dope. I think the husband spends his time in the garage to avoid going into the house with the crazy wife......It would take ALOT of drugs to get me to live in the same domicile with that woman.. skydiveTaylorville.org freefallbeth@yahoo.com

How did you do it? how much did it cost? skydiveTaylorville.org freefallbeth@yahoo.com

OOO, Viking you've got me beat! As to the suggestions about the Mormons and the Jehovahs witnesses, COOL! This woman hasn't worked in a long time, so she has time to mess with us, our house and our lives. She has followed me to some of my clients properties, and as the cop told me tonight "she knows WAY too much about you" The restraining order is what I was hoping for, but no go, cuz of the property line thing, and I'll be damned if she'll chase me from the house I wanted my whole life, and have spent the last 20 years remodeling. Another neighbor told me that she had a heart attack about 2 years ago, and she is at least 125 pounds over weight, so there is hope. skydiveTaylorville.org freefallbeth@yahoo.com

Then wasn't it illegal for her to come into your yard to yell at your kid and to yell through your window? Yes, it was, but her word against mine, hence the recommendation of video skydiveTaylorville.org freefallbeth@yahoo.com

Oh he would definitely like THAT! He'd have photograhic reminders of a great night with you! Guess I'd have to watch them with him for the next 30 years.... skydiveTaylorville.org freefallbeth@yahoo.com

I have a no trespass warrant against her, but apparently you can't get a restraining order on someone who shares a property line with you, since they technically can't stay the 75 required feet away. At least that's what the States Atty office told me. Yea, I need to buy a camcorder... skydiveTaylorville.org freefallbeth@yahoo.com
