    Ask people who know a little about camera flying before you make rash decisions and you'll save some money and frustration. Is there no camera flyer at the DZ you jump that will help you? Of course the may resist giving advice since you're under sensible minimums.     Which is a very tired counter argument. What if 50% of bad guys could no longer get guns or the ammunition to fire them....would that be worth something? Discussing in absolutes serves absolutely no purpose. Show me one law that has stopped the bad guys from getting guns or ammo. Show me how any of those laws have reduced gun crime in the USA.     The Luscombe Silvaire is a high wing a/c, the PAC750 a low wing thus providing the possibility of a lot of "blind sky". Pilots need to keep a diligent lookout, but sometimes things happen. Nearest I've been to a mid air was riding up in a jump 182 in the forward student position and looking past the pilot I watch a Piper Archer on the same heading descend about 300 feet to our aircraft's left. Nothing could really be done about it as local ATC failed to call traffic till AFTER the incident. ---------------------------------------------- You're not as good as you think you are. Seriously.

    Good, Good. The other thing is not to own the same gear more than two seasons (replacing it once a year is best). Well, that doesn't make any sense. And it doesn't make any sense to be a smart ass. If you can't afford it then I suppose used gear is a better alternative to renting. But why settle? You get what you pay for.     List 'em. I've had no problems with a properly configured pullout set up. That means a 9 to 10 foot (bag to pc atachment) bridle. That's just short of 400 wing suit deployments. ---------------------------------------------- You're not as good as you think you are. Seriously.

    I think doing it the old fashioned way, where you rock up to a new DZ, buy some jump tickets, introduce yourself to a few people and make some fun jumps works pretty darn well. ---------------------------------------------- You're not as good as you think you are. Seriously.

    We're not quite big enough to keep packers busy full time. If I had to recommend a couple, I'd say The Ranch, NY in the summer, and then check out Z-Hills in the winter. ---------------------------------------------- You're not as good as you think you are. Seriously.

    It's the December blah's dude. I get em' too.....they suck ass, but spring is a comming, and every challenge life presents can be viewed as an opportunity as well. If you REALLY think that it would be fun to come be a DZ bum in the sates, then DO IT. I've had more fun eating Top Ramen and living tight from time to time in the last several years as a skydiver than I think I ever would have if I never had took the chance.
