Um how about dont use them at all...that is a personal thing. It is her choice, though I dont know any woman that would be ok with using someone elses toys. Sorry. If I ever found out an SO used borrowed toys on me I would kick his ass. Though having said that...I wouldnt let something that wasnt in my possession anywhere near me unless it just came out of the packaging. My friend, the sky will always be there. No one says you have to completely retire. However taking a step away for awhile to spend time with your kids? that sounds like a damn good reason to step back for awhile. You can always come back to the sky, it will be here. Take the time to spend the time with you kids now while they are young, cause that will not always be the case. The sky will be waiting for you when and if you decide to come back.

Another thing I do, since I take a bunch of different vitamins twice a day, I take a big swig and take the pills one at a time. By the time I am done there goes a whole glass of water each time.... 2 down, 6 left to go! Well, you know, if losing weight is a goal of yours, then drinking lots of water is going to help. Go ahead, call me a bully. It's tough love. But it is the truth...When I am good and drinking the water I should, I can drop weight and really do look and feel a hell of a lot healthier

Dont forget the water!!!! My best investment was a good Nalgene bottle. I got one of the ones that will actually squeeze and is dishwasher safe! I always have one at my desk at work, I am stoked new job has an ice maker too yay! Along with a cholestrol score thru the roof, gained risk for heart attack, etc etc etc. There are much much better and healthier ways to gain weight. Eating fatty greasy foods isnt the smart one. Yup, and I had my knee done at Vail Valley Medical Center in Vail, CO back in 93. Back then the docs there did NOT want to use patellar tendon grafts For the exact reasons you stated. No way I wanted to risk weaking anything else direct to my knee. Every now and again I have issues with weakness, but that is completely unrelated to the surgery. This is what they did for me, and many many moons later knee still feels great. Now my brother had it done with donor tissue. His recovery is definatly going a bit faster then mine, though I have no complaints about mine. Long run I am curious to see how his knee holds up. I must also point out though I wasnt even legal to drink when I had mine done, so that could have played a part in it. We shall see, but so far my brother is very very very happy with the progress of his knee and all is going very well.
