All the time...there are times it is just better that way. When I lived in colorado i would take off and ski all day by myself. It was the most wondeful thing. I love to take off and go hiking alone too. Sometimes I just really dont want people around...it is nice to spend time with me. Still the funniest is the looks I get when I go to dinner or a movie alone. Havent done the movie in awhile, but have done dinner a few times. People look at you like you are nutz... Yup...I was not cold AT ALL it is about layering and not over layering. If you wear too much you will sweat and that is not good either. I love the skies in the winter, they are just amazing.... I guess each situation is a bit different. My dogs DO NOT get snuggly when food is around. They may stare at me when its time for them to eat, but that is about it. They do get snuggly all the time, but it is not in anyway related to food. But this is also due to the fact they ARE NOT ever given people food from a plate, from the table from the couch etc. If I give them a piece of steak or chicken it goes into their food dish, and that is only on VERY VERY special occasions. My Husky Dakota is the most snuggly dog on the planet with anyone and everyone....My Shiba Inu Nikki though aloof at times especially with people she doesnt know...is the most lovable thing on the planet. Well with the snow we got the last few days, and the fact that skies were clear and beautiful, and wind was minimal I decided that I would go for a little hike at the Forest Preserve down the street from me. Well to make this even more fun, I finally got myself a new digital camera that i am learning the nuances of. A Fuji S5100...a very very nice camera I attached a few pics I took to day to give this baby a test drive.
