whats the difference between the 0.42 and 0.45? most of the camera guys at my dz use 0.42 and it gives this fisheye effect and i don't like it, does the 0.45 have this effect too? one more thing is that pierltd.com says the 0.42 "May cause vignetting with SONY cameras", is that true? my dz is 90% racers, and i pack them all the time on most of the racers i packed the riser covers seemed to open really easily, if u look closely on them u'll c the "tongue" that slips in the pocket is really small so it's -really- easy to open, not to mention how easily they open in freefall. i;'ve talked to people that don't even bother closing them cuz they open up even before they board the plane! i had the same problem as u, my fall rate used to be between 120-145, my fastest fall rate was 146 when i was wearing t shirt ans shorts now that i got my ff suit from jumpbubble my fall rate is between 150-170. u can ask just about any manufacturer to make the suit tight, i specailly asked for mine like the space suit and she made it EXACTLY as i wanted it. odyssey- i own one and have about 50 jumps on it and i really like it,i never had my main flap or riser covers open in freefall. the only thing about it is the high price when u add some options on it (rings ect.) voodoo - never jumped one but packed a few, it's well built with good main pin protection and bridle protection, but not as good as the odyssey has, what i don't like about it and most of the other containers is that if doesn't have cut-in leterals like the odyssey has, my frame is quite narrow and only the odyssey doesn't move on my back g3 - never even saw one but people say it's a copy of the vector 3 vector 3 - i never jumped one but packed some, great riser covers and i think the best main pin protection i ever saw but doesn't have a very good bridle protction as the odyssey or voodoo (it was a 1998 model so maybe they changed something?) hey guys, i'm wondering at what speeds does your plane fly on jump run? we r always having argues with our pilot cuz he never give a decent cut, i had a chance to look at the speedometer, on the ride up our speed is 80 kts or mph i'm not sure and when we're on jump run it's a good thing if he even slow down to 70! he says the plane will stall if he will go any slower, is it true? ps. we fly a cessna 206 "The longer you freefly - The longer your beard is"
