  1. I too am wondering what exactly you are referring to.
  2. Get a new battery and your problem will be solved. Batteries only last so long.
  3. You require more than "3 frames-per-second for up to 60 JPEG" at 12.8 Megapixel? Seems more than sufficient for what I am doing.
  4. I have been saying this all year now that I have been doing stills. The only thing I do slightly differently is I never change it to medium resolution. One day you will take a picture that you will really want to blow up very large and you will not have the ability. The WalMart photo idea is great. Mark
  5. I find that those micro fibre cleaning cloths that they sell for lenses and glasses work really well for this. They are available in any store that sells glasses and are only a few bucks. Works good on the outside of your wide angle lens between jumps as well. Mark
  6. So are you saying that I can only have one objective on any jump? How about a freefall objective and a canopy objective? I teach our students all the time to have an objective for each part of the skydive.
  7. Here is one from Skydive South Sask's pond Mark
  8. Mine did this too. Simply took it back and they gave me a new one after trying to get the files off with no success. That particular card has a Lifetime Warranty. Mark
  9. A jumper at my dropzone was jumping a sidewinder and had an unstable opening and tore his reserve container partially off due to this problem. Al fixed it by installing these. I just got my new wings container (with cut in laterals) and noticed the catch point but have not had time to contact them regarding this yet. Thanks for the info. Mark
  10. I don't think you really know much about who reads these forums, you probably know lots about who posts to them however. Look at the number of posts that each person has done that responded to this thread already. Only a very small portion of the people that read the forums reply to them. The problem is the majority of the audience on this forum is not the people with
  11. I as well have a PC10 and it is still working fine after about 1000+ jumps. I had it open on an L bracket for most of the jumps but purchased a camera condom about 2 years ago for it. Never had it shut down. Took the eye piece off once on a jump when I just starting jumping it, but other than that it works great. Still looks good too. Mark
  12. How does one get ahold of Kelly to purchase a set? Mark
  13. I think the filter you are looking for is "Aged Film" It is very customizable allowing you to choose the amount of scratches, the amount of film movement, color, etc. etc. PM me if you would like some more info on it. Mark
  14. I also sent them an e-mail about a box for the 330 and here was the responce I got: This was from November 18th this year. Let me know if they made any progress with the PC 330 box as they look to be far superior box. Mark
  15. I ordered it through a local store here. If you get good and cheap you don't get fast Being in Canada I paid a bit more for it this way but I get some warrenty now though. Mark
  16. Mine still has not come in. I am looking forward to what you think of it. Hopefully there will not be any negatives. Mark
  17. I just broke down and ordered one. When I get it and get a d-box set up I will pass on any info I can come up with.
  18. You can use the Cam Eye, Only to do so you have to plug in this little piece with the LANC port on it. I use the PC10 without the Cam Eye as I do not want the extra 1.25 inches out the side of my camera, and if I ever accidently got it snapped off it would bugger up the camera nicely as that is were the power goes into the camera. Mark
  19. Unless you happen to have the VMC-LM7 part the Cam Eye is not going to do you any good on the PC10. The PC10 does not have a LANC port built into the camera. The VMC-LM7 sticks out the side of the camera about 1.25 inches so you may not be able to use it in a box. Mark
  20. Tads suits are an excellent deal. I purchased one 3 or 4 years ago and still jump it. I probably put 600 jumps on it and it looks like new after I wash it. There are no rips and the stitching is all still intact. It was a lot cheaper for me to purchase this suit than to go with any suit manufactured in the US as the Canadian dollar was low. Tads are also just less expensive.
  21. Looking at getting into a X-brace canopy and was wondering about the differences between the VX and the FX. Opening characteristics, riser pressure, anything else that you might find useful to note. Thanks Mark
