I took my two year old to their concert. (What was I drinkingthinking?) Very eerie 4000 2-5 year olds completely mesmerized by 4 adult males. And then I was stuck humming that damn music all week. Ah. the joys of parenthood. John Arizona Hiking Trails

How many Classic jumps before a Skyflyer jump?
jverley replied to leoholanda's topic in Wing Suit Flying
I started directly on an S3. I have not jumped any other suit, but the S3 was what has been available for me. I have not had any problems with it but I only have 10 jumps on it. John Arizona Hiking Trails -
Very beautiful. Congratulations. Remember for the first two years you teach them to walk and talk. Then for the next 16 it's sit down and shut up! John Arizona Hiking Trails

Jogging is unsafe! When is the government going to start regulating such dangerous activity. It killed Jim Fixx, now it has struck again. Personally, I avoid such dangers. It's hard to run in the otter. John Arizona Hiking Trails

The border at Lukeville is closed from Midnight to 6am. You do not need a passport but should be able to prove that you are a citizen or have a legal right to enter the US. Customs information here John Arizona Hiking Trails

Flexon were made by Ringing Innovations were the first rig with rings. I believe they only had lower rings. Each rig needs to be evaluated on its own merits based upon its condition. In general Flexon are fine rigs, John Arizona Hiking Trails

How far do YOU drive to get your skydiving fix?
jverley replied to schattenjaeger's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
70 miles. About 75-80 minutes one way. John Arizona Hiking Trails -
Whackers provide flexibility. If you use lines that are anchored on each end a small angle problem gets magnified the further from the base the line is. This may result in a line not completing because the space is too wide or too narrow. By using a whacker, there is only one anchor point and the angles are not so crucial. John Arizona Hiking Trails

To quote Bart Simpson: "Hey, since when is Christmas just about presents? Aren't we forgetting the true meaning of this day -- the birth of Santa? He'd be Jewish. He was last time! John Arizona Hiking Trails

It is really hard to learn RW from a book. The best place is in the tunnel, then in the air. However a few books have been helpful to me. 1. United we Fall. 2. The Art of freefall Relative Work. Both of these books are by Pat Works and are quite old. Some of what they teach is outdated but many of their basic truths remain. (Flying you slot, quadrants, approaches...) There are some better videos than books. Some of them are: 1. Basic Body Flight 125 2. Kinestasia Bottom line... Its more fun to do skydiving than read about it or watch it.

I never planned on skydiving. My dad wanted to and mentioned it in the mid 80's. My sister gave him a static line jump for Christmas of 89. He gave her one for her birthday a few months later. They went together and had a great time. I went along and watched but still did not understand the thrill. All I knew was that they had fun and had shared a great experience. In 91, I needed a christmas present for my dad and gave him a static line jump again. Neither he or my sister had jumped since the first time. I gave myself a static line as well just to share the experience. I figured I would scare myself once and have a good time with my dad. That was April of 1992. It did not work out as I had planned. In the last 11.5 years, I have never done less than 4 jumps per calendar month and have over 2700 jumps. Dad, while not as active, has over 600 jumps. I would say I was a referral.
