    Uh, no fucking way! Searing foie gras takes a proper pan and reliable heat. This meal requires FOUR independent burners, and at least one good oven; two is better. I assume we want some veggies (ie haricots verte or asparagus depending on the season). Absolutely. No tournedos rossini but camp food is even better. Hell, ANYTHING tastes good when it's cooked outside. I'll bring along some of my famous merguez or bottifara sausages, we'll roast them on sticks, and pass the bota bag. Paired with: Pommes Anna A cake of pressed, thin potato slices arranged in a spiral with clarified butter between the layers, roasted at high temperature in cast iron until a glassine crust forms.     We have Johnnie Blue and like it enough that we replaced the first bottle. But it's horribly expensive. I'm not sure we'll replace the second bottle. But then we have over 45 bottles of exquisite single malts and many of them have far more interesting character and cost 1/3 as much. Johnnie Blue is delicious. I just don't know that it's 3 times as delicious as Dalmore 21 or Balvenie Doublewood or Connemara Irish Single. We also have Johnnie Red, Black, Green, Gold, Single, and Swing. If you must have it, go to the border and find a Duty Free. That's about the only way to get much variety in price. First Class Citizen Twice Over
