That's interesting. Does a president legally declassify secret information simply by telling it to someone? Or do they have to submit a form first? First Class Citizen Twice Over

The Federal Reserve & National Banking Act are unconstitutional

The article is certainly WRITTEN like bullshit but the legal argument behind the story is not. First Class Citizen Twice Over -

I'm confused... where does Pianka express ANYTHING to get mad at? The only contentious thing here is some unnamed "enemies" who are said to be putting words in his mouth and you're all taking the bait. You look like a snapshot of a society of trained attack dogs. "Kill, boy!" "Arf, snarl, chomp!" It doesn't take much of a trigger to set you people off against someone, does it? Doesn't it embarass you to be so easily controlled? Don't you have a little curiosity to know who exactly is doing this controlling... and for what purpose? First Class Citizen Twice Over

I'll admit that position isn't widely accepted but... ...hardly anyone still believes THIS one isn't true. First Class Citizen Twice Over

From For Us, The Living by Robert Heinlein, 1939 (first published posthumously in 2004: For Us, The Living takes place in 2086. So maybe if Heinlein's as right as he so often was, we only have 80 years left until sanity. The passage continues amusingly: First Class Citizen Twice Over -
I won't get fully into a complex issue, but I'll point out that while Bush and his people are bloodthirsty hegemonic aggressors, they are NOT the whole of the american nation. I will admit they're doing a good job of converting the failed bullies among us though. First Class Citizen Twice Over

You love that phrase. Would you define it and then give examples from my posting history? No, I didn't think you could. Childish name calling and bashing me for a rare typo? You're way below yourself today. First Class Citizen Twice Over -

"heroine" n. 1) A woman noted for courage and daring action. 2) A woman noted for special achievement in a particular field. 3) The principal female character in a novel, poem, or dramatic presentation. Legalize heroines! First Class Citizen Twice Over -

That's really cool to hear. I take cooking seriously. By the way, I think we could put together some great wines too. We have about 500 bottles put away and there's something for everyone in there. First Class Citizen Twice Over

Uh, no fucking way! Searing foie gras takes a proper pan and reliable heat. This meal requires FOUR independent burners, and at least one good oven; two is better. I assume we want some veggies (ie haricots verte or asparagus depending on the season). Absolutely. No tournedos rossini but camp food is even better. Hell, ANYTHING tastes good when it's cooked outside. I'll bring along some of my famous merguez or bottifara sausages, we'll roast them on sticks, and pass the bota bag. Tournedos Rossini Seared beef tournedos (a thick round cut from the tenderloin) topped with seared foie gras, demi-glace, and truffles on rounds of crustless white toast (to soak up the sauce and foie gras drippings!) Paired with: Pommes Anna A cake of pressed, thin potato slices arranged in a spiral with clarified butter between the layers, roasted at high temperature in cast iron until a glassine crust forms. We have Johnnie Blue and like it enough that we replaced the first bottle. But it's horribly expensive. I'm not sure we'll replace the second bottle. But then we have over 45 bottles of exquisite single malts and many of them have far more interesting character and cost 1/3 as much. Johnnie Blue is delicious. I just don't know that it's 3 times as delicious as Dalmore 21 or Balvenie Doublewood or Connemara Irish Single. We also have Johnnie Red, Black, Green, Gold, Single, and Swing. If you must have it, go to the border and find a Duty Free. That's about the only way to get much variety in price. First Class Citizen Twice Over
