Check it out. A Republican behaving like a Republican!

I don't have enough information to know about that but his closing sentence indicates balls the size of Texas: First Class Citizen Twice Over -
Uh yeah. Thanks... Could you go read my responses to BillVon above and just take it as given that they apply to your post as well? First Class Citizen Twice Over

Extreme Christians . . . Extreme bullshit comparison. I dunno... we're told extreme muslims killed somewhat less than 3,000. How many have the extreme christians killed recently? First Class Citizen Twice Over -
Can anyone (wiser than me) explain this to me

Winston Churchill and Josef Stalin come to mind. That's funny. For some reason this photo came to mind for me. First Class Citizen Twice Over -
Absolutely right! Now that I'm a moral heterosexual, I am ready to join in battle against the fucking faggolas. My inside knowledge of their agenda should make me useful at the highest strategic levels of the Christian Pro-Family Military Forces. I also know their weaknesses intimately. For a fair fee -- to be negotiated -- I will lead you to their lair. BWYAHAhahahahaha!!!!! First Class Citizen Twice Over

Actual Negative Impact of Illegal immigration

Please remember this line of argument next time you state your views on Privacy and National Security. And you should please remember YOUR dismissal of BillVon's attempt to gather even SLIGHTLY reliably anecdotal evidence at the very same time. First Class Citizen Twice Over -
You haven't been paying attention have you? This drug has been lambasted by the administration because -- as a potential cure for a deadly sexually transmitted disease -- it would potentially encourage promiscuity. The Bush administration and its flunky Reginald Finger have been quite clear that 'loose' women should die of cancer. First Class Citizen Twice Over

Not to nitpick, but this is a pretty serious oopsie in your post: vs. First Class Citizen Twice Over

I only took 10 years to be Jane Fonda. What's your hold up? Maybe you can be Jane Fonda if you keep trying really hard. It's never too late to be Jane Fonda. First Class Citizen Twice Over

I've thought long and hard about it and I've decided that it's morally wrong to be homosexual. From now on I'm following the "straight and narrow" path. It's the right thing to do. First Class Citizen Twice Over

Quite right! And what about couples of different heights? Or economic status? Or loyalty to the government? Honestly, it gets too complex to ban marriages piecemeal like this. Eventually there would be HUNDREDS of constitutional amendments. I recommend simply assigning it to a beaurocratic body. We could call it the Ministry of Procreation or some-such. Every couple would apply for permission to have sex and be approved or disapproved according to good public policy. You might object that it's too onerous a requirement but in this age of Total Information, it could be a simple web-based form with instantaneous results. First Class Citizen Twice Over

You're the one who invoked the IRS. What really confuses me is you're complaining about the way the IRS treats you as if that were a defense of your proposal to treat other people even worse. You're not arguing at your best today. First Class Citizen Twice Over

Excellent. Bill defends his bad suggestion by saying it's no worse than the bad things that happen to him. You defend it by insinuating that I'm not qualified to say it's bad. Apparently neither of you can actually defend the idea on its merits. Clap clap. First Class Citizen Twice Over

Extreme Christians will not just stop. And you can't kill them all. And you can't ignore them. First Class Citizen Twice Over -
Of course they do. I wasn't asking you if the bad policy you're advocating had precedent or not. I was asking if you understood how bad it is. First Class Citizen Twice Over

If the NY Times published photographs and notarized confessions of Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld, and Rice gang raping coma patients in the ass, the republicans in congress would cite national security and say the victims "had links to known terrorists." First Class Citizen Twice Over

This sounds a lot like presuming guilt, imposing and carrying out sentence without judicial process, and leaving it to the convict to retroactively prove their innocence and obtain a pardon. Procedurally this would be very efficient for the beaurocracy but antithetical to the spirit of the United States culture (or the memory of it at least.) Is beaurocratic efficiency the minimal standard by which you'd like the government to justify all of its criminal punishment policies? First Class Citizen Twice Over

What are you talking about? Half of your posts on dropzone.com are about how much you'd love to murder people! First Class Citizen Twice Over

"Almost"?? It's way worse than that. You'd see house-to-house searches with air support and tanks in the street. Without that, people who don't want to be found could simply hide or skip from house to house ahead of the government agents. Don't think this would be like census-taking. Nobody minds the census, but illegals would resist being rounded up. This would have to be an armed occupation and 24-hour curfews until the search was complete. Of course that wouldn't be enough either. There's LOTS of places to hide in the country. To do an even half-decent job the search would continue for years. But I suppose military occupation and martial law is the price for living in a free country. And besides, the US federal government is learning so much about how to do it well in Iraq! Actual Negative Impact of Illegal immigration
narcimund replied to aftermid's topic in Speakers Corner
Is that new? It certainly wasn't the case when I was 12. We got paid by the flat of strawberries and if it came to less than minimum wage that was our problem. I don't know if that was legal then or now. It's what happened then. Come to think of it, I think there are exemptions to minimum wage for certain agricultural situations -- like this one.
