    The one drive you saw is probably the OS hard drive, dont uninstall that one ;-) There should be another grouping, Unknown devices maybe? You can try to manually specify the driver as being external hard drive. I cant really walk you thru it, Im more of a hands on tech, but hopefully you're pointed in the right direction. XP, Vista and Win 7 all have default external hard drive drivers installed, why its not picking it up, who knows. You can try to unplug the usb, unplug the power to the drive, plug power to the drive in, wait ~30 sec to 1 min, then plug usb drive in. LACIE drives need that done occassionally because they get all screwy and boot into their bootloader mode, not their operational mode.     Since I had my rig next to me as I sat down, it has the same markings on the hip rings as it does for the harness ring connector. Looks like a diamond, cant really make out whats inside of it (could be a B) and 04 next to it.     Key word: BEFORE. They will also have probably more fabric over their head to slow them down before they hit. I had about twice as many jumps as you, with about 20-30 in the previous few weeks, under a sabre2 190, horrible landing that I almost couldnt limp away from. Took me out of jumping for a while, hell, getting in and out of a chair hurt. Couple trips to the doctor and physical therapist later, still hurts sometimes. Its just not worth it. Not that you care. BTW: There is no fucking way you can land a 150 perfectly with as many jumps as you have. I have more than double your jump numbers on just my sabre2 190 and Im still working on it every jump.     Yes, if your bios supports it... but why? You can just crack that external open (most cases) and plug it into your computer and volia! You can even boot a slimmed down version of XP off a thumb drive... Its a bit of a pain in the arse to get working, but it works pretty well.
