    Ive jumped a borrowed rig that I had to be careful how much I arched, because the reserve ripcord was short enough that a good deep arch could have dislodged the pin. Was a problem for me, not for the owner of the rig...     Any idea of the failure rate of those? I know they've long since fallen out of use in civilian gear, but don't they still use them on military gear and pilot bailout rigs?     Most people say no, and I understand both sides of the fence on it, I like them as an option, and think about getting them on my next rig... the only downside that I can see is they could fail... But you should be checking your gear before every jump...     I *thought* it wasn't possible but wasn't 100% sure. For me that's a total deal breaker in any case for paid jumps or team jumps. For coach jumps, wingsuit jumps, that'd be ok I guess, although I still much prefer my cx105 sidemount for that (and I really don't like sidemounting...) because of the hype-eye, the quality and because I already have it all set-up It wouldnt be THAT hard to modify a gopro to use external switch and have a light... but it would require breaking each one open and soldering to it...
