I just bought some Liquid Hellfire's, they are a transitions lense, Wearing them unactivated is like wearing regular clear shooting glasses, and from what I hear, snowboarders had to take them off because they got too dark in the snow. I think they should work just fine... Yeah, yeah...you just bought them because LouDiamond is on their website... Look to be a lot like the Wiley-X stuff...didn't see the "Hellfire" model on the site, though. Its not listed on their website, but I assure you, they exist... Military gets a pretty damn good discount too. they go from like 12%-84% tint... but they dont work in extreme heat, so i cant tell how dark they get here. Its easy for my dz to watch out for folks and such because we just have a couple of Cessnas. What about the guys jumping at Eloy or Perris or Chicago? It seems that it would be extremely easy for them to get onto a plane where no one knows who they are or their skill level with a camera with no one ever saying a word. The good things about those dropzones is that there are tons of really good and experienced flyers to learn from. The downside is that it is easier to do stupid shit and not have anyone notice or care as long as you don't endanger them. VERY true...like I said I don't know 1/2 the people on a given load at my DZ. AVG would hit on some (but not all) of my programs, but that hasnt happened to me in a good while now. It got pretty bad at one point though. I write the file, so I know whats in it... I will test it a few times then push it on one of the networks, make sure there are no issues and push it wherever else it needs to go. OH Hell Yeah... one way is to be VERY selective of who goes into the Administrators group... so that they have to ASK when anything that I dont find as approved by policies in place does NOT get installed. The quickest way to mess up a test box or dev box is to let testers and devs have administrative rights.....fuckers will do some REALLLLY screwed up shit for sure. I make sure that everything they test is on servers tht have the same things loaded as they will find in the Production data centers. If they cant make it work right in test with the servers set up the same way the Prod boxes are.... back to the drawing board and find a fix. Loosening up security to make something work... is not a fix to a bug. I write all of my own scripts, its much nicer to know exactly what the program is doing. Some patches we wait for the requirement to come out, and I'll automate it (not so easy to push some of these thru active directory/SMS) AutoIT is really easy to use if you've ever done any OOP, and it can do just about anything you can imagine. CCleaner is a great free tool for cleaning all kinds of shit on your computer. I also suggest getting the MVPS hosts file as it will block most ads and malicious websites. I remember a thread a while back about the ads on dz.com getting out of hand or something... I hadnt noticed, I dont see ads. ETA: The hosts file is extremely easy to remove if you want to get to some of the sites it blocks (certian 'malicious' sites I go to are blocked) I could just edit them out, but Im lazy.
