Skydiving found safer than fatal car accidents!
masterrig replied to mdwhalen's topic in The Bonfire
I read a couple years ago, where skydiving is safer than organized softball. As you mentioned, I question those numbers also. There's a lot more folks drive cars and play softball than those who skydive. BUT, it sounds good! Chuck -
You got it , man! I've just gotten very good service from Fed Ex and am not afraid to say so. When I recieve work coming in, I know, they'll deliver at a certain hour. UPS could be in the morning or as late as 8:00PM. Chuck
-
I understand just what you're saying! Chuck
-
Best time to go to UPS is before 8PM... no waiting. I get a lot of UPS slips on my door for 'delivery attempt' I call UPS (locally) give them my information and they tell me if that route truck is in or when it will be in and go get the package. Personally, I use Fed Ex. I have never (knock on wood) had a problem with them. I could tell some 'ugly' stories of experiences I've had with UPS. Chuck

I know of a few jumpers who haven't looged a jump (logbook) in years. They 'guess-timate' at the end of the year. At least, you know how many you actually have. What-ever works! Chuck

Opening and reclosing other peoples reserve pack jobs
masterrig replied to rigger_john's topic in Gear and Rigging
I won't do it! Over the years, I've seen things that I would not want my 'name' on. I inform folks that if, I did not pack it and they want their Cypres put back in their rig, it's going to be a full I&R. Otherwise, they can take it to the rigger who packed it. Chuck -
That's funny! Chuck

Hell, you're good to go! Chuck
