One of the ladies asked if she could bring a friend along. I said; "Sure! Then, she dropped the bomb; "Good... I think you'll like her!" Long story short... Our 10th. wedding anniversary is Monday!

_______________________________ Like I said, I only watched the dumb-ass show once. That, was just total curiosity and extreme boredom. There was nothing good on RFD-TV, at the time. There was a show on E, last year, 'Filthy Rich Cattle Drive'. You talk about totally spoiled, useless humanity! It featured the sons and daughters of 'famous' people, on a cattle drive. Those folks didn't know the eatin' end from the shittin' end of a horse! They wanted meals 'delivered' out on the range and I don't know what all. Who, dreams this crap up? You bet, I'll see ya' in the Idol thread. Chuck

For those who'd like to preview Chris' upcoming career can pick up Absent Element's CD from last year at their website for $7. Just got it in the mail a few days ago. Solid alternative metal, a tad derivative but some unique lyrics, riffs, and timing to keep it interesting. All-in-all not that bad actually. Very listenable. The guy's a talented front man no doubt. __________________________________ The guy, definately has talent! I'm not much into alternative. Mostly blues, Southern Rock, country, rock & roll. ___________________________________ I've read and heard where Chris has had several offers. The guy is definately going places. Couldn't happen to a nicer guy. He seems 'real' and un-touched by the hype of Idol. I've heard folks like Toby Keith say that the people who put-out records really don't know shit about the type music a particular singer can do. They get someone who sells a million records and suddenly, they 'production line' singers and have them do what the person before them did. They give them the same 'look' and dress them similarly. I don't see Chris 'selling-out'. It's been tried so many times and so many good singers have bombed, because of the 'type-casting'. Chuck

I don't want to wait a year before hearing Chris! He will make a name for himself though. Who knows maybe he already has a deal with an existing band, like Fuel! Having Chris gone from the show, has taken the fun out of watching, because I don't like watching Elliot or Katharine. ____________________________________ Watching Elliott and Kathering, is just painful! I watch the show to see what Taylor comes up with next! I miss little Kellie! I've been thinking about my statement you quoted and I think, once Chris gets the 'Idol Tour' completed, look-out!
