    _______________________________ That was really good of her. The radio won't turn off? It might be a little late now but, you could've removed the positive battery cable and just put the cable back in place when you need to return the car to the mechanic to get the radio to turn off! Chuck

I hate dirty Cops tarnishing my badge and others like me who are out there putting our asses on the line every day, doing the job the right way. _____________________________________ Thank you... for the job you are doing. We trust these people to be good and protect us and rely on them. When we find they are not what we 'thought' they were, it's a big shock to our systems. I really feel, those people who are in positions of trust and break that trust, should be shown absolutely no mercy. Chuck Those who would violate that which is bestaowed upon them by their office or position seek that same position out as a place to conduct their crimes from. Pedophile rapists = Camp Counselars and or Boy Scout Troop leaders. Men who prey upon 12-14 yr old girls = School Teacher Men who jump on every sexy, hot bodied chick, who likes to party, and get naked = Jumpmasters ____________________________________ How very true! What about 'some' tandem instructors (I'm referring only, to one or two that I know) Chuck

    That would so suck. Problem is, I don't have air conditioning, so I rely on fans strategically placed to get the air moving through the house. Doesn't work well when the air is 105, though...just hot air blowing around. All 6 cats are laying bellies to the sky, sprawled out on their backs, in front of the fans. One, Simon, pants like a dog at times...and he is panting now. I've put ice into their water dishes, but it doesn't help... Can't help but laugh when the cats go belly up, though. Too funny. Ciels- Michele __________________________________ That's rough, having just fans. I guess, it beats the alternative. I've been doing the same thing... ice cubes in our dog's water. I'll tell you what, this has been a tough summer all over this country. I feel bad for folks without fans or air conditioning. Chuck

I haven't seen it like this since the 80's. Chuck I just had to share the wonderful news. My tent trailer is setup out back if anyone wants to come visit. It sleeps 8! The downside would be you'd have to deal with us Canukians! 'Shell _______________________________________ I haven't met a Canuk yet, I didn't like! It'd sure beat the heck out of all this heat.     _____________________________________ Where I am, it was 104 today. Right now, it's cooled down to 101. You beat us by a degree! The bad part is, the humidity here has been 63 - 68%! Chuck It's a wonderful 24oC here and 35% humidity. A light breeze is blowing and there are a few puffy clouds in the sky. Forecast for the same over the next 4 or 5 days. I took a brief dip in my hot (now cold) tub to cool off. It was 30oC. Cooled me off enough to play with the dog for a bit. 'Shell ______________________________________ Well! Aren't you the one!     My BF wants me to visit there, says its a step in time. ________________________________ It's really neat, there. The German food and all the little shops. there's the Admiral Nimitz museum and just all kinds of stuff to see. The bakeries are to die for! It's not far from where you are. Take your boyfriend up on the offer... well worth it. Chuck

    Nothing worse (to me) than a cop gone bad. We just had a deputy here, fired for skimming funds and theft from the evidence room and a few other charges. Not as bad as rape, granted. I think, any cop turned 'sour' needs to be put in prison general population. Chuck

    ___________________________________ Old school with good taste in women! (Farrah and Linda Carter!) I'm 'old school' too! The first time I saw the Stones, was on the old Ed Sullivan show. I was about 16 - 17 yrs. old. The only time I ever got to see them in person, was on their 'Babylon' tour. Chuck

    _________________________________ When you're The Who or the Rolling Stones, you can charge what you want... and get it! Saw the Moody Blues a few years ago... front row and they were incredible. My wife, got the flautist to 'pose' on stage while she got his picture. That show was worth $22.00 ea. Chuck
